Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The room was very spacious and clean. We had a really good sized fridge and working aircon. The balcony was big and a nice spot to sit out on at night. The location is ideal, just on the edge of Ubud centre but still very close to walk to any restaurant or stores nearby. The rooms were cleaned daily and we were given bottled water everyday. The staff were lovely and friendly, everything was awesome.

The location was also good, along a quiet side road with many food, drink and laundry options. 4 minutes on foot to main road in Ubud.

United Kingdom- a few minor things like limescale on the sink/shower or toilet, which may look like it’s dirty; - ants on the terrace (and may appear in the room if there are traces of the food), but it’s because of the garden surrounding . Same for geckos, which are there but harmless.
