Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe villas could have done with some modernisation/TLC & pool needed a good clean. But generally the rooms were up-kept day to day with daily house keeping and it suited our stay perfectly.
We had a great stay at The Sawah Villas. The staff were brilliant, very attentive and you got breakfast to your villa every day. You were always met with a smile. Wi-Fi was great and villas were very spacious, bed were very comfortable and room was cleaned everyday. It was nice being slightly out of town, much quieter area but an east 15-30 minute scooter into Ubud (depending on traffic).

QatarThe room is not well made. The balcony sliding door has a parting in it that allows all sorts of insects to come in. There isn’t sufficient light in the washroom and the mirror and washbasin are position awkwardly. Water pressure isn’t consistent, sometimes good, sometimes nothing. Bed makes a lot of noises. No complimentary slippers.

AustraliaNot much breakfast options for us being an Indian vegetarian. TV was not functioning. Although a room boy tried to fix it. However, it needed mobile antenna to be placed at certain corner and height which was not practical. It's advisable the resort installs a fixed antenna. It was difficult to locate the property by the taxi driver from airport. Milk for tea/coffee was not provided. These are very minor issues and should not detract someone from booking this resort.
Good breakfast with small slices of watermelons, small club vegetarian sandwich. Good flow of hot/cold water for shower. Beds were comfortable. Staff were very cordial and helpful in planning/executing our itinerary. Swimming Pool was clean.

UkraineI asked them to clean my room one more time as there were cobwebs near the bed, mold on the shower gel and shampoo jars and black ventilation. Sometimes they cleaned well, sometimes not.
Location is quite good if you have your own transport, otherwise it’s far away from Ubud. The view from the room is fascinating, rice fields are sooo beautiful and sunsets as well. You can walk around easily, there’s a small jungle nearby. You have fridge and 2 bottles of water every day. Small coach and wardrobe. Breakfast is super tasty, you can choose from several options.

PolandAs with some other places we’ve been staying in Bali, the Villa could use some “loving” touch ups. The staff keeps it very clean on a day to day basis but e.g. towels or curtains could use a little extra cleaning (or replacing). Similar with the pool: it’s cleaned daily but could use some proper vacuuming. Keep in mind that the kitchen is outside so there are ants (and mosquitoes) but that’s not something you can avoid.
The staff is absolutely amazing and very helpful! We loved the location - away from the business of Ubud but not too far, with a couple of great places to eat within a walking distance (or a grab order). It’s a very beautiful and relaxing place. The Villa is big and comfortable (though the bathroom takes half of the space 😂).
