Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsThe AC in the villa is noisy. IF there is any room for improvement, it would be this little aspect.
In one word "amazing"! The warm welcome fully in Balinese style, the easy process of checking in, the service and personal approach, alway with a smile, this feels like home... or better. And then the villa... what a stunning place. it is huge and has all facilities one can think of in your wildest dreams. Each villa (20 in total) has its own private pool, outdoor relaxing patio and outdoor shower area. Indoors the massive living/ bedroom with high ceilings and all luxury. The bathroom is almost the same size as the bedroom with again all one can wish for. In total this private villa has a surface of 300m². Housekeeping is excellent and keeps track of every little detail. Every member of the staff is super friendly and helpful. In fact they help you, before you even realize that you needed it. We were amazed by the infrastructure of the whole hotel, which has the size of a resort, yet comprises only 20 villa's. The restaurant is great and the breakfast (à la carte} offers a changing menu every day. The afternoon tea at the beach is a "must do". The hotel is directly at the beach with an own "private beach". Along the coast you can walk to the other resorts. Bikes and Kajaks are free to use. Many thanks to the whole team for pampering us during our honeymoon. Special kudo's to Housekeeping and the staff at the restaurant.

IndiaThe fitting could be more new. The pool side deck could use a coat of polish. The breakfast for an ala carte type was not outstanding. The yogurt was not perfect, the options were good but not great. The bread basket could be much better. But its not a deal breaker. Just could use a more high end chef. The ac draft come directly on our heads at night. The shower outside the villa for post pool use was prickly, and needed a new shower head. Small things, but for usd 750 plus a night these should be better.
Location is outstanding. The layout of the property is relaxed. The service is very good. The room size and feel is excellent. The shuttle service to Bali Collective is efficient. The place has a non resort feel, in the sense it is not crowded or a cookie cutter resort beach holiday. For those looking for non hurried or non crowded and a more quiet holiday. Huge contrast to our resort at Seminyak. Afternoon high tea was nice. The restaurant menu has many veg options. The restaurant food was very good. The dinner by the beach was amazing.

FranceA little bit of algae in the water but this is nobody’s fault. Not enough of a problem tu ruin anything about this experience.
Amazing 5 stars villa hotel! I travelled with my husband and 2 children (4 and 8) and we booked a swimming pool villa with extra bed. The villa is enormous, very inside/outside living style. Beautiful large pool. We were greeted at the hotel with a ceremony and a nonalcoholic cocktail making course. The hotel is quiet, the personnel very pleasant and smiling. The beach is clean, with calm water, great for people with kids, I would say, if you are not looking for a hotel with slides and kids clubs. There are free bikes to rent on the property with child seat available and tandem bike. We took a ride in the hotel premises. The infinity pool is nice. The food in the restaurant is very good. I also tried the massage and it was really really professional and comforting. We are already dreaming of coming back! It feels like an oasis of calm and tranquility!

BulgariaThe beach of Nusa Dua is very beautiful but due to the low tide most of the day you cannot swim too much as you need to go rather far but then there are scooters and other boats there. However, this is the case for the whole Nusa Dua and has nothing to do with the place itself.
This is a proper 5 star experience with everything you could expect from it- the villas, the common areas/ pool, the service - starting from the welcome drink right to check-out. We took the bikes available and went by the coast and can firmly say that this was the best place on that beach and Nusa Dua. There are only 17 villas so most of the time even on the pool there are just few people. Restaurant is serving very good food - both breakfast and dinner but breakfast was especially good.

United KingdomNo soundproofing. Can hear kids screaming in a main pool. Staff at 6.30 am talking loud next to the pool while cleaning. Not actually talking, felt more like screaming. It was Sunday and it's our holidays. Just wanted to sleep longer, but impossible. Royal sea view villa- 103 no privacy. You have to keep curtains closed, otherwise, restaurants and other guests can see you walking in a room. Or have to keep curtains closed all the time. People walking around the private pool and taking pictures. Some walking up the stairs of vila and also taking pictures. If you want privacy, get another villa, not one next to the pool. The other two villas had privacy. Restaurant have to be improved, the way dishes look.
Really good housekeeping. The room service was great, too. Very good air conditioning, actually best in Bali.

New ZealandThere is nothing not to be liked at this place.
We were greeted and welcomed in a traditional way. Super helpful staff and everyone was very polite. Check in was easy and we also got a welcome drink. It was our 30th anniversary and they decorated the room beautifully, we had chocolates and even had rose petals in the bathtub.

United KingdomAfternoon tea allowed only one cup of tea or coffee. If another was requested then there was a charge. Different from breakfast where you could have as many as you liked. Also, no glasses of wine available at dinner, only bottles. The beach was disappointing - lots of seaweed and debris and not suitable for swimming.
Great villas with wonderful pools at the villa and in the shared area. The staff were exceptional.

AustraliaWater sports dominate the beach - not a hotel problem but do expect jet skis, boats etc as a constant The room has little privacy around the pool - again a catch 22 as the beautiful view is the reason passers by can see in
The room was incredible with a huge pool overlooking the ocean - very comfortable The food was great - breakfast and afternoon team where included and both where delicious + good coffee Right in front of a beautiful beach Great location too - you can walk on a beach front bath all the way to nusa dua beach with lots of food / bar options on the way

AustraliaDoes not have a gym Benoa is North of the Nusa Dua landscaped resort area, so the road immediately outside resort has more local stores, vacant buildings, rubbish along beach (where there are no resorts). However, this also allows for more local vibe and it's easy to reach all areas along Nusa Dua with the free resort driver service.
Stunning, spacious villas within a private complex of only 20 villas, gorgeous gardens and right on the beach. High quality finishes throughout. Perfect for romantic escape. Very good A la carte breakfast selection/drinks. Fabulous central infinity pool, although most time spent using large private pool in villa. Nice touches e.g. afternoon tea/cakes included, little notes written on leaves, free mini-bar Staff are super friendly and attentive

Czech RepublicSwimming in the sea is not possible, algae on the shore. You have to go to the beach 100m further where the seaweed is removed by the staff every day at low tide from the sea. It's a shame that the hotel manager probably doesn't consider this important. But he should realize that Europeans come to Bali to swim in the sea.
excellent breakfast, accommodation with private pool, large space in the villa, staff, catering

RomaniaNot a biggie, but… The bathroom faucets - sink, shower are quite worn out . Maybe it’s time to replace them. Otherwise they are working, no problem. But it steals a bit of the magic of the entire room.
It’s an amazing property. The villas are beautiful, huge, super private. The furniture inside the room is splendid, though wear signs can be seen, it was not a problem - had a vintage-like air. There bathroom area is fabulous with the open space shower, no insects, maybe a few mosquitoes. The public areas of the resort are wonderful, so beautifully designed. The attention to detail is there definitely!
