We loved our stay in the Jangkar villa. It was very clean, quiet and nicely decorated. We also had a great pool for us to use. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The villa is in a good location with a walkable distance from nice restaurants, bars and shops.

I liked that it’s family run. The owners were so welcoming, and helpful, and we had some really good conversations. other things that I liked was that place was very clean, had nice high ceilings, sufficient space for hanging/storing things, a big beautiful washroom…and a mini fridge! I also loved that it was quiet at night, yet close to the downtown and the beach, and close to a top notch vegan restaurant!!!

water temperature was inconsistent due to tank heating - ie. once hot water is used up by the first person, water will be cold. rain shower in one of the rooms had weak water pressure. however temperature is not so much of an issue since weather in bali is warm

the villa was very spacious and clean. well equipped kitchen, kitchen island for gathering, and also a pool that had plenty of late morning - afternoon sun. aircon was cold and rooms were great. i also felt very safe staying here. despite the construction next door, sound is very minimal and cuts off by the time sun sets. location is perfect, 2min gobike / 5min walk to the bustling area. affordable and well equipped 24h gym within 5-8mins walk, delicious warung right next door and coffee places nearby. staff were very friendly and efficient :)

The bed was squeaky.

Incredibly nice and friendly owner, easy to make friends with. Other staff also very friendly. Exceptionally clean rooms. A few minutes scooter ride to the beach. Big room with high ceiling; really good value. They have a bar where the owner can make you some cocktails or you can have some affordable food. You can go fishing with the owner if the weather is good. They organized us airport pick-up.

The 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The dispenser barely worked and made washing difficult. Had to buy my own shampoo and conditioner.

Location and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and cozy. The bed was excellent! Quiet and good location to go explore the area. The staff also gave me the adapter when I realized I didn't have the appropriate charger.

Fantastic stay! The staff are so so lovely and the room is brand new, clean and spotless. The aircon and wifi work perfectly, location is great (within walking distance of all the best restaurants) and the shower is the best I’ve had in over 4 months of travel. I can’t fault it!

Great stay at The Jangkar Canggu Guesthouse & Villa. Good AC, clean and comfortable room and bathroom. Complimentary water bottles every day and you can rent a motor bike from them directly. Couldn't recommend more! We had an issue with our motor bike (related with our little prior experience) and the hosts promptly made themselves available and drove to meet US and help us! Thank you so much to our hosts 🙏 definitely would recommend staying here if you're in Canggu - quiet enough but still walking distance to several restaurants, party places and market.

The best place we have stayed in Bali! Me and my boyfriend stayed here and will stay here every time we come back to Canggu! The place is clean and the rooms are large and comfortable and the bathroom was great too. We loved the pool as well!There is a cafe at the front as well which was super convenient, and had great food & drink with a good price too. The owner of the place was so nice, understanding and helpful! The location of the property is great too, it’s nice and quiet but still close to the town! 10/10 recommend you stay here :)

Sadly there is a building site just in front of the rooms, starting 8:30 am every morning... Impossible to sleep. That's too bad because otherwise the area is quiet and far from the main street. Also a kettle in the room would be nice

Well located, clean, new, very friendly staff. Rooms are quite big. And they have a coffee machine with real (and good!!) coffee at the reception, for half the price of the coffee shops around

Everything was perfect. The bed is huge and really comfortable, the pillows were so soft and fluffy. There is a fridge in the room(2nd floor). They also provide a drying rack which is so thoughtful and handy. There is also a safe in the room. Plenty of space in the closet including hangers and a couple of drawers. The view from the 2nd floor balcony was peaceful. There are 2 chairs and a table so you can sit and watch the sun go down. I could not hear my neighbour through the wall when the doors were closed so that was a plus. As for sleeping, I wasn't disturbed at night by noise from the outside, except from the occasional dog bark but that was before going to bed. The bathroom: They provide towels as well as toothbrushes and tiny toothpastes, very thoughtful. The shower was amazing, water pressure was great and had hot water. There's also two shower heads, one rain shower and one detachable. You could order food as well here when you don't want to leave the guesthouse. They have coconuts as well which I had every other day. The service is amazing. Everyone is lovely and eager to help. Rooms are cleaned every day and towels and linens maybe every two or three days, can't remember but it was often. Also provide two small water bottles everyday when rooms are cleaned. The location was top tier. About a 15 minute walk to the beach and so many restaurants around within a short walk. There's a circle K nearby to buy bits like water. Pasek and Christie, the owners were so lovely to chat with. Hearing about their story of founding Jangkar, for their kids and what it means to them was really heartwarming. I felt completely safe staying here, it being a family running this guesthouse just added to the warm homey feeling.. My stay exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to return.

The toilet in our room was leaking from the base... we didn't notify the hotel as we were only staying 2 nights and it wasn't affecting our ability to use the loo or bathroom - I'm sure they'd have made attempts to help if we had told them. It wasn't ideal, if we were staying longer we would have minded more. The bed was also incredibly creaky- like if you moved in bed you'd wake yourself up! But this may have only been our room, and the bed itself was huge and incredibly comfortable.

The location was excellent, close to all restaurants, bars, shops and beaches in Canggu! The room was a bit smaller than expected but perfect for a short stay - the balcony was great! The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful with organising a driver to pick us up from the airport. We loved the driver (Ari) so much that we had him drive us to all the sights when we moved onto our next hotel in Ubud. Highly recommend asking the hotel to organise a driver. Also, the shower was amazing! Overall, incredible value for money.

I want to thank the whole family at The Jangkar Canggu Guesthouse & Villa. They were amazing. Stayed for two weeks and they made it so comfortable and were very accommodating. The facilities were perfect for what I needed. Wifi was strong and stable (multiple zoom calls). Pool was clean. Cafe on site was excellent. (It looks like what they show in the photos) It was a short walk away from all the shops and restaurants which as perfect as there wasn't any late night noise. Will 100% be back.
