Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Breathtaking view from the private infinity pool. The crew is extremely friendly, helpful and so kind. Everything is very clean, smart tv in the room, a lot of drinking water is provided. The food is excellent. Easy to hire a scooter at the reception. Perfect stay.

New ZealandGetting around was hard. It was a bit disappointing how they "band" grab taxi as the available taxis in the area would charged five times the price of grab. I think that was the only downside of staying there.
The Villa is brand new. Everything was clean. The king bed was comfy. The bathroom is very spacious. Such a luxury villa.

United StatesOne thing I wasn’t aware of before booking is there is no restaurant on site. It ended up being fine because they delivered food to your room or we went into town to eat/explore. There’s also a few restaurants within 15 minute walking distance. One thing we had a hard time with was connecting to/staying connected to the WiFi; it seemed to work well in other spots, so it may have just been our particular villa. Lastly, the service was spectacular and friendly.
We had a wonderful time at Ubud Clifton Valley Villas. Our room was perfect—the AC worked well, the bathroom was clean, spacious and bright, and best of all—the private infinity pool. While the hotel is a bit out of central Ubud (about 20 minutes without traffic), the hotel offered a shuttle that takes you to/from town at several different times each day for free. All of the room service we ordered was great as well. Thank you Aris and everyone at the Clifton for a great stay!
