You will need to taxi into the centre but the hotel can arrange that for you or you can use Grab. It is worth it to have the peace and quiet.

Amazing place to stay in Ubud, we didn’t want to leave! It is so peaceful looking out onto the rice paddies. We stayed in one of the wooden villas and they are spacious and have a nice bathroom. Breakfast is great and you get a choice of 3 options each day. We got a very nice massage in the room and reasonable price for laundry. Staff are amazing / would highly recommend!!

We had the best experience at Sunshine villas Ubud, the staff was so helpful and provided a very nice atmosphere. The hotel is in the heart of a small area in Ubud, where you can walk safely around and get access to different local places to eat. It is surrounded by nature only and local people, the true magical Ubud according to us. We did a massage at the swimming pool an evening, it was one of the best one we had so far. I truly recommend this place !

Very close to the hotel there are some constructions, so you can hear noises about that and maybe some people looking at you. The light from the bathroom is really bad. All the room and everything is beautiful even the bathroom as it is but there’s almost no light at all. Feels very dark.

We stayed on a private villa with swimming pool. Beautiful hidden place to spend some time relaxing. Nice view of the rice fields. Great and warming service from the staff.

That’s the second time I stay here. Just everything is perfect. The environment, the rooms, the pool, the breakfast. But on top of that you get the best people working there. So attentive, nice and welcoming. I just love this place so much!

At night, the light in our room attracted a lot of bugs from outside. In the morning there were dead bugs on the floor (they stayed near the lights, so they did not interfere with the bed area thankfully)

Beautiful, clean, well-kept property (gardens, bedrooms etc.) located across from some gorgeous green rice fields. Everything felt very peaceful. We loved our room, overlooking the pool and felt so cared for by the attentive staff. Breakfast was included, and even though portions were small, it was delicious! Overall, very happy with the stay!

Little away from main ubud downtown and market so we have pay for taxi or scooter to go to market

The villa was very beautiful surrounded with rice paddies . Staff was really helpful and nice . We really enjoyed the pool time . Breakfast was also fine and met our expectations .

We ordered some massages and they do not have a specific place for it so they did it in our room or by the pool deck. The villa has a great selection of services such as, drivers, scooter rental, lots of tours and massages. Better to double check prices as not everything is all-inclusive in the tours. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom. Despite appearing clean and washed, there were some stains on the towels and the bed sheets.

The service was really good. Rooms are beautiful, clean and tidy. The place is kept in a good condition and generally quiet. The food at the villa restaurant was very tasty although a small selection. We had a cat visitor that was not the villa's pet, just came to say hi!

Was a bit annoying to pre order breakfast to a specific time and still it was served like 15 mins later. Why should you already pre order the night before than?

Relaxing and calm area outside of the center. The pool is nice, but views from the pool could be better (construction site).
