I honestly liked the whole thing, the scenery, the location, the staff, the food and everything.

Our stay at Snooze, a beautiful homestay in Yogyakarta was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome—every member of the staff was just AMAZING! They went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. The warm welcome was only the beginning, as we were offered refreshing drinks constantly, which was a lovely touch, especially in the tropical heat. The breakfast each morning was a real highlight. It was clear that it was cooked with love, full of delicious, local flavors that made us feel right at home. The place itself feels enchanted, surrounded by lush greenery, with plants that are so well looked after it adds to the serene, natural atmosphere. Everywhere we looked was impeccably clean and organized, showing how much care the team puts into maintaining this wonderful space. Admittedly, I was a bit unsure about the “no hot water” situation at first, but it turned out to be quite refreshing and actually ideal given the warm climate in Indonesia. After a day out exploring, the cool water was surprisingly comforting! A big thank you to the whole team for their warmth, kindness, and attention to detail. We truly felt like part of the family here, and we hope to perhaps come back soon to relive this wonderful experience.

The stay was great and the staff is so friendly, they are very professional and serviable! Great level of English as well! We booked the 10 hours ride with their driver who was Imam and he's the best! Super nice.

The staff were so kind! Breakfast options were really good. The vibe in the hostel was very friendly! Staff went above and beyond to make sure you had a good trip!! The bathrooms were always so so clean. Best hostel worth the higher price !!!

I can't say I normally write reviews but I felt the need to express that not only was this one of my favourite hostels with excellent facilities, but the staff are genuinely so helpful, friendly and welcoming. And a bonus the breakfast is excellent! highly recommend

Super friendly staff that will help you with anything you need, always asking about our days and plans. The common areas are beautiful with all the plants and are a great place to relax. The breakfast was different each day, with lots of fruit. Delicious! Would have loved to stay longer!

The staff Is really kind, helping us in everything we needed, from suggestion on places to eat and organizing for us tours and transport. The trip to the temples was really nice, and the driver, Wahyu, was kind and help full with us. The hostel Is beautiful, clean with green spaces when you can relax and drink hot and cold drinks. we heartly suggest it!

Nothing, everything was good! Be aware that you share the toilets and showers, but that didn't matter it's super clean.

The people are so warm and welcoming! We felt at home even though we're far away. The garden is amazing and the ice coffees are great!

Wasn't too much noise either with it being just off reception Showers - no hot water - but this was normal WiFi - great Breakfast - AMAZING Communal areas - great for meeting people Had hot drinking water, fridge for a few bits

Staff where lovely and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was very good and they even accommodate for day trips/early starts by providing you a breakfast to go. Place was clean and well located. Helped us organise tours and had great recommendations.

There are only cold showers, which they are very clear about in the booking but good to know. My room had Aircon but some rooms don't so just check your booking if that's important to you. The Aircon is pretty noisy as is usual with the standard unit but also worth knowing.

Snooze is absolutely delightful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The communal areas are lovely to spend time in, very bright and filled with plants. There are lots of places to sit both inside and outside. There are plenty of bathrooms and showers and there is always toilet paper and soap. Everything is spotlessly clean. There is a choice of delicious sweet or savory breakfast every day, normally types of eggs and a pancake/crepe/french toast option, which comes with a fresh fruit bowl and a coffee/tea. The kitchen area was perfect for me to heat some leftovers. It's not really a 'party' hostel as it's quite small, but I had a few great conversations over breakfast with guests, and met some people to go to dinner with. The area is very quiet and felt safe at night. It's walkable to a few of the big attractions, and 5-10 mins grab bike (less than 1 dollar) to all the other local places in the city. I would definitely recommend it! The room looked exactly like the pictures.

We've had an amazing stay in Snooze! Very good location and most of all really gentle staff, they're always ready to help you with a big smile. The breakfast is also really worth it.
