The breakfast was delicious and glutenfree. I have celiac and the banana pancakes were made from sticky rice flour so I had proper breakfast everyday! The owner Ali is amazing and helps you with everything - scooter renting, snorkelling trip... My friend dropped her Iphone into the water and he helped her to get to a proper store in Jepara where they fixed it. The outside sitting area is really nice.

EgyptThe room didn't have an ensuite bathroom. There were shared bathrooms, but they were okay.
The staff were super friendly. They helped with everything. Organised transportation for us to the beaches. Told us of an organised island hopping and snorkelling trip that we went on and was incredible. Breakfast chocolate & banana crepes and fruit were awesome. They also provided towels. There was a mushalla (prayer place). The outer living area was so peaceful and chill.

The place is in the middle of everything, hamac, big room, nice kitchen.. amazing little breakfast in the morning. But more than that was really the host. We felt like family.. he was taking his time everyday to bring us everywhere, to his friends place, snorkeling, to the best beaches. He was helping us out with every little details we ask.. We had an awesome time in sana sini! Ali served us nice breakfast and always made sure we had anything we need - fresh grilled fish for dinner included! He also knows what places to go best on the island, showing us a hidden secret waterfall one day. The room was clean and the bed comfy. Sometimes we used the kitchen with the fridge for cooking. We felt very welcomed in sana sini, thank you Ali!

IrelandNot good value for money. No sink in bathroom. Tiny towels provided. Manager seems helpful but only when money is involved. There is a difference between ‘helpful’ and being sold to (NOT a place for backpackers). Scooter and boat tours hiked up in price from across the road! We had issues with the ferry and from reading old comments I think there is a small scam here where they make you think you won’t be able to get off the island and then the Manager will be able to get you a ticket miraculously for an inflated price. No other people we spoke to had this issue with their hostel/homestay.
Location is good. Breakfast and terrace out back are nice.

GermanyThe bed in our first room was not very comfortable. Although we had booked in the Ocean Homestay we were put up in the hostel next door. There was a big crack in the wall in the bathroom from which an insect came out. However, as soon as it was brought to their attention, the staff did everything they could to make it more pleasant for our staff and let us change rooms.

Franceit's too expensive for the accommodation. I had one room with a bad smell, it wasn't cleaned under the bed I could see so many dust and I didn't feel comfortable because of that smell. It's just an okay place for one night. Hopefully I was in that hotel only for one night. Maybe the other rooms I've seen are better without that smell. But still it's too expensive for the standing. I paid around 260 000rp.
