No cleaning of rooms whilst you were staying, felt the bins at least could be emptied especially as you can’t put paper down the toilets

Having read an earlier review we chose not to include breakfast. The onsite restaurant appears to have given up and doesn’t serve food later in the day. However there are very good restaurants nearby including the very professionally run PJs just next door. Nowhere is very far away on Gili Air

This is a really chilled out hotel on a really chilled out island - I would definitely stay there again. The room itself is basic, but comfortable with an open bathroom at the back and a small terrace seating area at the front. The small pool is set in gardens surrounded by the rooms, and the beach is just outside with hotel with loungers available and some of the best sunsets I’ve experienced. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Room isn’t cleaned every day but you can ask for it to be cleaned and for new towels. We stayed for 6 days and could have stayed longer.

They may improve with cleanness it was a little bit superficial. Some spots had spider web and the mat was never changed although they cleaned the room every day.

Staff very kind and available for our request. The bed was comfortable. The location was amazing and we could enjoy the sunset everyday. You could rent the bike directly there and also arrange snorkeling with them.

I read previous reviews which indicated that the breakfasts weren't good - and they weren't when compared with PJ's Restaurant which is right next door at a competitive price, so we had breakfast there.

We stayed for 2 weeks. The room facilities were modest, but very comfortable. The a/c worked properly, so did the bar fridge, and the shower was hot etc. The room was serviced daily. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the pool was sparkling clean. Being right on the beach, we found the location perfect and definitely have Salili Bungalow on our 'return-to' list!

Helpful staff, nice pool and beach area and good breakfast (fresh juice, fruit, toast w egg or pancake and tea/coffee). We also got to book a private boat for the snorkel trip with them and had a great guide & captain. Really helped my mom get in and out the boat and were very caring. Recommended!

The doors are not fully sealed, which seems a waste of energy and insects can get in. Even though we didn’t have problems with insects.

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good AC and mosquito net. Private access to the beach. Helpful staff. If you want room service, you need to ask them. Good laundry service.

I think because the bungalows aren't 'airtight' the aircon wasn't super strong but still really great!

It would have been nice to have our room serviced and if they could have restocked the tea and coffee station. It did not bother us as we did not spend much time in our room.

We were welcomed with fresh juice on arrival. Clean, comfortable room with aircon. Salili is close to the beach. We enjoyed spending our days on the day beds and going for a swim and watching the most beautiful sunsets. The swimming pool was also refreshing. Salili have bicycles to rent and also their own boat for private snorkeling.

Bathroom could do with an ungrade, and the door didn't lock properly but nothing that took away from the experience.

A small set of bungalows in a lovely location, right near the beach. Very quiet and peaceful. Great staff who are very accommodating. We asked for a few things and they were always very nice and helpful. Very chilled vibe. The rooms are simple, nothing flash but adequate. Could do with a few fixes, but nothing that takes away from the experience. Comfy beds, with good quality mosquito nets. Standard outside bathroom which was fine. A lovely pool and grounds.

There were a lot of mosquitoes which is typical of Gili Air, but the mosquito net could have been washed as there were a lot of dead bugs on it.

It was right on the beach! The staff were lovely. We enjoyed having breakfast while watching the waves on the beach every morning, and finishing the day with sunset at the beach and dip swimming pool :) It was a very convenient location - right next door to Blue Marlin Diving Centre, ATM, grocery store and other beach restaurants. We would stay here again. Thank you!

The room felt dirty with lots of dead insects. The aircon wasn't great either. A couple of hornet nests in the outside bathroom.

Location is nice if you prefer peace and quiet. There were some great little restaurants nearby. The pool was great too.

A/C was quite weak. You had to have it on full cold all day to get the room to a bearable temperature. A ceiling fan would have been a wonderful addition, and more eco-friendly. While the open bathroom is very stylish, there is no shade over the toilet which is a little uncomfortable in the full heat of the sun. Could do with a few more shelves or rails to hang clothes in the room. The bathroom has one towel rail, but it's not under cover so towels will be wet if it rains.

Really great beachfront location. No frills, no fuss beach bungalow. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was simple but nice. Comfortable bed, with a full wraparound mosquito net. Lovely shower. Pool was nicely set back from the beach and shady so it didn't get too hot. Close to everything on the nicest side of the island for sunset. Good value
