The bamboo house and the bamboo appartment are very nice. The neighbourhood is very nice for walks with friendly local people smiling and waving to you along the way. If you want to see authentic rural life in Bali this is the place to go. The owner of the property and his family are helpful and really caring about their guests. We went to our next stop with the local driver arranged by the owner. The driver was from the village and spoke great English. The price was also very reasonable and the driver very talkative which made our journey even more enjoyable. While we were staying in Pondok Salacca we ordered all the lunches and dinners from the wife of the owner. The food was delicious! I highly recommend this place!

Just Stunning.. authentic. It was a highlight of my trip. Staying in the bamboo house, I did coconut oil making and basket weaving and had a stone bath full of flowers.. along with a magnificent water fall. Just an amazing experience of the real Bali. 10 star experience.

We loved our stay! The stunningly built bamboo house is at the back of the family property, with a private gate. My daughter loved the cool features - the bridge walk through the garden, the outdoor bath, the chickens that would come in the garden to visit. We loved the convenience of ordering food at the property, and it was all delicious. Family is super helpful and so happy to arrange anything for you, and support other local families too. We especially loved our morning down the road making coconut oil, baskets and spoons. I travelled solo with my 3 year old and we felt a part of the family,

Bamboo house in the middle of the jungle, amazing! You can rent a scooter directly at the house, also a coconut oil and bamboo baskets course. Very beautiful surroundings: villages, waterfalls, rice fields and very very nice people.

Nice Family Hosts. So booking.com. & your Booking can be deceiving. The picture you See . Is not what I got. You probably have to pay extra for this bamboo house with Bath. I had the one round the corner. Still quiet & I booked to Walk Mount Agung with the host.

We first booked 2 nights, but we loved it so much that we doubled our stay! It is truly amazing. So calm, so green, extremely beautiful build and the owners are simply amazing. They are really sweet and helped us a lot with transport. I can only recommend!

The bathroom door has some problem. If you lock it it is difficult to open.

It's a beautiful and calm location surrounded by Selak garden. One has to stay minimum two days to enjoy the natural vibe around. Breakfast is good. The hosts are good. They gave selak fruits to taste..

We liked the quiet place very much. It felt like staying in the jungle. We really enjoyed making baskets and coconut oil. Ask for the walk to the nearby waterfall. It's a must do. Also the food was delicious.

I stayed in the big bamboo house and it was the coolest building I've ever stayed in. If you've ever wanted to spend the night in a treehouse this is perfect, with great food brought to the room, the beautiful jungle all around, and an unforgettable stay.

Nothing. You need to know that the place is in the middle of nature, they have their own chickens and cats, so you have to like this kind of environment.

Super nice and helpful hosts, always keen to help. The homestay is very clean and in a quite secluded location in the forest, with a nice community around. They can cook meals for you if you want to, as there's not much around.
