People smoking at breakfast. Should have a designated outside area. A couple decided to smoke sitting right in the middle of the restaurant. There is construction next door, but it did not impact us. Maybe if your room was close to the main noise, it could.

Gorgeous old style Bali accommodation. Very clean rooms and couldn't ask for a better location. They have lounge chairs on the beach and its a nice swimming beach too. Only a short distance up to beach entrance to the new ICON shopping centre. Fantastic location with so many good eating places close by. The beach walk is lovely with nice, wide and level footpath. We really enjoyed our stay here, and definitely stay again. Next time we said we would book the deluxe bungalows, they looked great.

The inhouse restaurant staff were somewhat listless, and in spite of the fact that my mother and I were the only patrons at the time, they were slow and and showed little interest to serve. Fret not, there are plenty of choices along the beach for coffee and casual dining, so all is not lost.

Respati is right on the beach, but be aware, that for the next few months (I am writing in June 2024), there is a construction project right next to the hotel. This project is nearing completion, but do expect some noise and perhaps some dust. I was not bothered by it, and the hotel did supply comfy earplugs to help. But beyond that, the hotel is exactly the old world charm type of hotel that Bali is known for. Once the construction is done, its location on Sanur beach places it right in the heart of the good part of Sanur. It's also probably one of the hotels closest to the new Icon megamall (if you're into malls), so that's a plus. The front desk staff are also lovely, and incredibly welcoming and helpful. Our room was well appointed, very clean, and the beds/pillows were dreamy.

Magnum construction site next door but they stop working at 10pm. Same breakfast choices every morning , wore thin after a week.

Friendly Greeting late evening, shown to our room - air con on so room was cool, and appreciated on a rainy humid night. Surprised to see how close to the beach we were located, enjoyed sunrise, buffet breakfast. Hotel arranged taxi to port.

Booked night before we arrived so that we could check in as soon as we got there at 6am the following morning. And also paid for an additional night leaving so we could check out at 6pm, when we got there in the information in the room we could of paid 50% for a later check out and I would of thought could of done that with the check in too. This wasn’t offered at all when I asked for an early check in. So they got a whole day of out us for free.

The staff were amazing and so accommodating.
