We loved the central location, right in the heart of Ubud, yet still felt tranquil and peaceful. Ilu and her husband (sorry if I spelled wrong) were such accommodating hosts, we had some early morning starts for excursions and Ilu offered to make us a takeaway breakfast for our journey which was so kind. She was available on WhatsApp for any help we needed and always responded quickly. The room was clean and the pool was beautiful, we enjoyed cooling off after a day of exploring. The value for money really is incredible and I would come back to stay if I am ever lucky enough to be in Ubud again.

Definitely choose the Ranggen if you want to stay in Ubud! We had the best stay here at the Ranggen. The location was a 5 minute walk away from everything but was so quiet and relaxing. The owners organised trips for us to do our ATV driving and water rafting and it was so well organised and helped relieve some stress of us. The rooms were so comfortable and so modern. The breakfast was lovely and the options were great! The owners are the best part of Ranggen. They are so lovely and always there if you need any help or advice. Our experience in Ubud would not have been as amazing if we did not stay here. We totally recommend and if we are ever in Ubud again, we will definitely stay here.

Everything! The place was amazing, good location, facilities and pool were clean. Bedroom was super clean, comfortable bed with extra pillows. And the breakfast was great too they bring to your room! they had smoothie bowl and for me, that was fantastic. The people from Ranggen were respectful and kind. Highly recommend.

been wanting to stay here since forever but always fully booked. when the time finally come, no regret at all as the property located in the center of Ubud and walking distance to all restaurant, coffee shop, Ubud Market, rice fields and Monkey Forest. it is a family-owned property and the host is very attentive. always accommodate our needs. feels like home as it only has four rooms. the cleanliness is second to none, the pool and garden is a nice place to enjoy the sun, the balcony and day bed inside the room is a perfect spot to read a book. with the price I’ve paid, all of these are totally worth-it! will definitely come back in October (if they have vacant room for me).

I enjoyed my stay. When entering the location, you had to pass through the family temple area, which was alrady a beautiful view. The actual guest house is settled in a really quiet area away from the streets surrounded by green nature. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. I loved the little reading area next to the window as well as the balcony. Having breakfast served on my balcony was a massive plus. The owner also offers airport transfers as well as tours to the main sightseeing places.

Staying at Ranggen was the absolute highlight of my time in Bali. The location was amazing, walkable distance to the centre but super quiet and peaceful. The room and the facilities were amazing and the breakfast was super tasty. There was a good amount of options of breakfast, juice and a hot drink every morning. The swimming pool was just perfect for relaxing from the heat. The owners and the staff just made staying there so much more rewarding. I hurt my ankle the day before coming to Bali and the owners made sure I was comfortable, always asking if I needed anything and helping me get everything I wanted. I feel like I just earned myself a family in Bali. They provide a wide range of activities which made booking tours a lot easier. They also provided a therapist who comes to your room and I got THE best massage I've ever had. I have absolutely zero complaints and I'm already looking forward to coming back and staying here again!! 🫶🏽

Only suggestion might be to keep a fan since always running AC might be uncomfortable to some.

Suggest to install ceiling fan for those who don't prefer to use air-conditioning unit all day long. Suggest to install more lighting along the staircase and path along the way to ensure the visibility during night time.

The location is superb convenient and strategic. The breakfast served is very delicious and healthy. The room is very clean and all necessary installations are prepared. The owner provides out of expectation services. Special thanks to the owner, Mr. Putu, for his warm and caring services. He drove us to the next hotel. He even went personally confirm the location is correct or not at our next hotel front desk before left us.

the rooms are simple, but they are slowly showing the passage of time - not everything is new, there are also some shortcomings.

great localization and very helpful the owner’s family. what’s interesting, you will live near to them (the villa is in the backyard of their home), so it’s perfect ocasion to see the tradicional balinesse house. also, despite you are in a center of ubud, here is peaceful and quiet.

Loved the ambiance of this place, It felt like home away from home, modern decor, lovely hosts, they supplied lots of extras like umbrellas and insect repellent. The pool was beautiful. Only 4 rooms so felt quite private. Great shower, and a short little walk to a main street in Ubud. Lots of warungs nearby for meals.
