Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaWhile we loved staying at this villa, the property was a bit dated but it provided everything we needed. With a bit of paint and some basic updates it could be amazing. As someone who likes to read in bed every night, the bedside lamps need stronger globes. There is a bar next door which plays music every night. Great if you love Bob Marley (haha) but it gets a bit much after a couple of nights.
We were 4 adult family members who enjoyed having our own rooms with bathrooms. The pool was lovely and the location was great for a selection of restaurants, shopping and spa treatments. The aircon in the bedrooms was good and there were mini fridges to keep our drinks cold. The staff cooked a basic breakfast onsite each morning which we ordered the night before. Staff were very polite and friendly.

AustraliaGreat location just behind the main road of Ubud- central and a easy walk to the Monkey Forrest. Lots of good shopping and food close by- try the restaurant next door for amazing food and cocktails. We had this whole location for our family of 5 and the kids loved the pool and rooms. Ngurah is a great host and really looks after you.

AustraliaThere was no one to meet us. I rang a number of times and had to wait 1.5 hours. There were large bags of rubbish from the previous occupants left in the yard for 3 days. I asked everyday for this to be cleared away. I had to ask for the other bins to be emptied everyday because they were overflowing. The bedroom lights could not be turned off. One room could not be locked. The children's mattress and pillow were dirty and smelly. The ash trays were all full when we arrived. No-one took responsibility. Everyone we spoke to blamed someone else for the lack of cleanliness.
Location to attractions and range of restaurants which were very close to the villa.

AustraliaProperty is in need of a bit of an upgrade. Mattresses were too hard and unpleasant. Air con was not cold in some rooms. Not suitable for families with young children as all bedrooms are not joined together. Would love to see this place under go a renovation. It would be an amazing place.

superb location in the heart of Ubud. just short walk to ubud center. along bisma street also you can easily find shops, resto, warung, cafe, etc. the villa itself i private with 4 bedrooms. rooms seems bit run down but still comfortable tough. also there is restaurant next to the villa play live music every night. would recommend to family/big group to stay here
