I highly recommend this homestay. Martina and Agus, the hosts, provided exceptional hospitality. The room was spotless and quiet, with a large, comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. It's a Balinese family residence situated in the center of Ubud, within walking distance of numerous landmarks.

AC took a long time to cool. Could have been better considering the weather. But since we were out almost the entire time except at night, didn't bother us much. There is a bit of an uphill walk to the property. So, may not work if you have mobility problems or heavy luggage. The hosts helped with the luggage though. It wasn't an issue for us though.

The restaurants and major Ubud attractions are nearby, all within walking distance. But the location is still quiet. So, comfortable to stay in. Very helpful host. Clean and comfortable room.

The property is not fully accessible by car, so if you have luggage it is a bit of a short uphill walk. For meetups and tour pickups, best to indicate the nearby restaurant Oops Ubud as the pickup point.

Excellent, central location - very close to the market, palace, restos, and shops but tucked away into a quiet alley. Photos match the actual rooms, which were spacious, clean, and modern. Martina was very helpful and responsive to requests, including ordering a simple breakfast and arranging airport transfers. Value for money overall.

The bathroom is outside and gets wet when it rains, it can get a bit noisy at night.

The hosts are super friendly and helped us organise our trips around the island. The location is very good, the port and many restaurants are in walking distance. The room is big and clean, great value for money!

The location is perfect especially if you want to go around my foot as it is super central. Very comfortable bed and the room was clean. Everything looks like in the pictures. Spacious room and a bathroom where the shower and toilet are separated. Also enough space to for clothes etc. Also has a mini fridge.

The room is very clean. Martina the host and her family made my stay very special. They arrange also a pick up for me to the airport. The location is very good especially if you prefer walking distance to small cafes and shops. I will definitely come back here. The place is safe also and well lit. It is in the heart of Ubud but located in a quiet area. Very serene. You will wake up and greeted by chirping birds.

We loved to stay at Pondok Serayu. If I had to mention something, it would be that there were lizzards in the room. I think though that if someone decides to come to Bali, you also agree to live aligned with nature, so we did not get bothered by them.

Martina is an amazing host, she is always prepared for helping her guests with everything according to their needs. Pondok Serayu has a perfect location, next to Ubud Palace and Ubud Art Market, but still very peaceful and silent. The room was very clean. We had a really great time here.

The AC takes long time to get cold but still overall very good experience, I will book this place again.

Very good location, centrally located but the accomodation still feels private, quiet and safe. Clean, tidy and new facilities. The balcony is also a bonus, good place to hang out especially in the morning.

The room needs better sealing from the outside at the doors and windows as insects or lizzards may come inside.

The propery is located in the yard of the owners who also leave there. It is central, next to Ubud Palace. The room was very clear and the host was very nice and helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying here and I was blown away by the level of service and hospitality. The staff were impeccable and went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful stay. Martina, in particular, was always available to answer questions or help with anything I needed. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was powerful and refreshing. The location of the accommodation was perfect. It was close to all the major attractions, but it was also in a quiet area where I could get a good night's sleep. The breakfast was also excellent. Martina prepared a variety of delicious options, including fresh fruit, toast with jam, and eggs. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Pondok Serayu. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

Considering the price and the location, it is the one of the best accommodations ever :) and the host was responsive and friendly! we were welcomed when we arrived and everytime we met her she asked us how we were, where we were going like that... so kind :) Thank you. Brilliantly located in the center of Ubud just a short walk from the Ubud Palace, cafes, restaurants, shops, markets etc. The room was extremely comfortable with a nice balcony excellent for enjoying an evening drink. Martina spoke really good English and was very welcoming and helpful.
