I arrived there very late, because my flight was delayed and no one was "waiting for me" or at least left me a notice with the indications of which room was my room. So I spent 2 hours waiting at the reception during midnight someone to finally arrive and tell me where it is.

We rented a scooter, which was convenient, but the wheels slipped and the brake was not working amazing. We got a new scooter after that which was better, but the payment for the scooter and the communication with the host were a bit tiring. Location is not the best, far from restaurants and things to do.

The room is clean, spacious and cool. The bathroom is nice and the sink is good. The sink was leaking a bit and the button the turn the light on from the bathroom is behind the bathroom door, but those are small details.

The location is a bit out of the way, if you're looking to be in the hub of things then this isn't it. You'll need to get a Grab or Gojek to get anywhere if you choose not to hire a scooter. It costs between 30-40,000 one way to get into Uluwatu, so bear that in mind, or you can hire a scooter for 100,000 per day plus fuel from the homestay. It's around 15,000 to get to the nearest beach. Also, there's no pool, so when you're there you really have to entertain yourself. Great if, like me, you're there to get some work done, but if you're looking for a holiday location, this one is a bit far out.

I loved this small little homestay, tucked away down a little back street. Kadek is the woman who works there, running the day to day stuff and she couldn't have been more helpful. If I needed anything she was there for me in 30 seconds! The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was lovely, the little bathroom at the back of the room was perfect for what I needed. There is a little kitchenette that everyone can use in the communal area with a water dispenser that has boiling water as well as room temp, and a hot plate with 2 rings and a fridge. My whole stay was perfect, with constant wifi connectivity and everything I could ask for.

Our room smelled super bad the whole stay. Positive the staff bought a spray but it sadly just didn't help There is a lot of noise ( we guess from the neighborhood) a lot of hens, chickens and dogs. We woke up every day around 6

(I know this isn’t owners fault) But have to be wary at night as there are dogs around the property that bark and chase you if you want to get out of the property. We got chased by barking dogs that were trying to bite our legs, so wouldn’t recommend if you don’t like dogs

nice big rooms, the kitchen was clean and tidy (even had blender so we could make own smoothies). One of the comfiest beds we had all stayed in!!

The location is far from any places you may want to visit (at least a 15 minute scooter ride). The room needed some paint and decoration to make the stay somewhat homely. The man who runs the place seemed to always be either in boxers only or topless.

The bed was comfy and the air con worked well. They had a scooter for rent on site, which was ideal. There was a kitchen available to use.

Not a great location to restaurants/bars . The dog barking like mad anytime someone arrives at the gates . The flies in the room and bathroom were a lot and really annoying when trying to sleep. Anytime I would get rid of them loads more would appear. There is a really musky smell in the room. Never anyone on reception , I was there for 2 nights and only spoke to someone the first night I checked in . It is kind of what you pay for it’s a cheaper option in the area it’s okay for one night but I wouldn’t stay for longer

There were cockroaches, spiders and lizards in my room and really loud ringing noise for hours. Also dogs kept barking in the middle of the night I kept being woken up.

Location was abit far from central Uluwatu but we just rented bikes from the homestay so it was fine! Around a 30 minute bike to the main beaches.

We had a great stay here, the woman was very helpful with all aspects. The room was lovely and the price was really good, we rented brand new bikes and she was available to call at any point if we needed help.

Unfortunately we were actually unable to stay the night at this hotel as when we arrived we were completely shocked to see it was not what was shown on the photograph at all. For starters the bedroom looked out into reception and there was no lock on the door so felt very uneasy. The room itself was questionable the bed didn't seem clean and the decor looked old and also questionably clean. The staff were lovely however unfortunately I have to leave this bad review.

Overall, the place is small and seems to be redesigned from a garage or other outbuilding. The rooms don't have windows and good ventilation, so a damp smell is everywhere. After publishing the review, the host came out to the Booking chat and began to blame me for the negative feedback. And recommended finding more expensive places if I have a high expectations of the place's quality. The funny part is that both in Uluwatu and Nusa Penida I have had better experiences for the comparable price. So, please pay attention to the other low-rated reviews. They appear to be real ones. If you are responsive to smells or need a spacious place, that's definitely not an option.

The staff was so rude. When we arrived the guy welcoming us pointed out the room, but didn’t even get out of his chair to show us or told us anything about the homestay. When we later tried to hire a scooter they tried to make us overpay so much. Glad we didn’t do it because we found options half the price. The location is terrible, it’s not even really in Uluwatu and it is 40 minutes bike ride from the things you want to visit when you visit Uluwatu. Also the shower was cold. The room was cleaned fine, but it was also not cleaned very well. The bathroom was still wet when we arrived and didn’t really dry up because it was moisty.

We didn’t really like our stay. The room was fine, but that’s it.
