Didn’t realise it was quite the distance from the main part of sanur but gojek made life very easy!

The staff were so friendly and really treated us like family. Especially GEDE!!!! He even taught me how to ride a motorbike and went out of his way to make sure we had a good time in sanur!!

Nothing. Only when i ordered Grab Taxi, they tended to wait at the start of the street instead of coming to the front of the accomodation

The staff is good, and the villa is quiet. Most of the time, we have the pool to ourselves. The market and beach are within walking distance.

Stayed here 3 or 4 times over the years. Excellent in every way. Staff are so helpful, rooms are spacious and very clean, great pool. Have not had breakfast here as like to eat at beach but have been told by other guests that it is very good. Have already booked up for next year.

The contracting out for tours or drivers and less reliable people did not work well. Unfortunately my pre arranged airport pick up did not turn up at 2am and when I was leaving the private transfer became a shared transfer an hour earlier than was agreed.

It is a beautiful, small traditional Balinese property. Tranquil and very beautiful. Staff very attentive . I would love to return.

Little gem on its own right but what makes it excellent is the staff who run Pondok Ayu. Small but big enough place with I think 4 rooms just like home from home. Spotless, spacious room with lovely garden/ swimming pool area to relax.

Kind of a ghetto neighbourhood

Nice room, quiet..good for getting some sleep from long flight.. beach is relatively near but you have to take taxi, don't go by foot

It was a little way from restaurants, but only took us 10 minutes to walk to a Warung for dinner.

It was great value for money, we got in late and left early as we were on our way to Nusa Lembongan. Had a lovely swim after we got back from dinner. Breakfast was included and could not fault the food or accommodation for the night.

My airconditioning was a little warm. It's a busy 15:minute walk to Sanur Beachfront. I didn't mind it & you could easily get a taxi or bike. Some people might find it a little frustrating

I loved Pondok & didn't want to leave. It is a beautiful little boutique hotel which is amazing value for money. My second story room was totally quiet, large, comfortable & clean. The gardens & pool are beautiful. The breakfast was delightful & very generous. The staff went above & beyond. I can't wait to come back. Pondok is a little gem!
