Good deal hotel and a very helpful staff. The bungalows were clean and build with the local standard accordingly. I felt being in the middle of the jungle with the ocean nearby

No longer a dive centre on site, no fridge in room , some hot water would be have been nice in the shower. Place looks like it needs a revamp and it appears from the building work that they are revamping it, I’m sure this place will be amazing next high season

Old building but renovations happening. rp200k extra for aircon is a bit steep. No tv, barfridge or coffee/tea making facilities in room. Neighbor hotel could look in our bathroom!

Nice people, simple but ample breakfast.

Just wish the restaurant had a more fun vibe with music and lighting as the menu was great but the place felt a little sad.

Location was fantastic snorkeling right off the deck along great coral and fish life and then the US Liberty is right there!!! The pool is good, food was good and staff were lovely 😍

I only wish the hotel provide a way for guests to pay with credit cards. I had to pay in cash. They also offer local bank transfer but I can't do it because I don't have any account at any local banks.

It's a bargain for the location. The beach is right at the back of the hotel. We only have to go down a few steps for beach access. Oh by the way, bring your snorkeling gear because the coral garden is just right there. On a plus side, the Liberty Ship Wreck is only a 5-minute walk or you can also snorkle there. My family enjoyed watching the sunset from the swimming pool. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes and drinks.

Restaurant average. The free breakfast is very light, DO NOT get the pancake, it's awful, luckily you can cheaply add anything from the menu, various types of omelette for example

The seaview suite is great for the price (particularly liked the bathroom) and any accommodation on the waterfront gets my vote. Pool a bit small but clean, clear and a nice 2.5m deep end

The electric socket (one only) was insufficient and was right above the middle of the bed. There was another in the bathroom but it was broken and even if it worked, I would not used a broken socket. If I needed a bedside light, then anything being charged had to be removed. The bed light was very, very dim. The towel supplied looked very old and ragged. I had to ask for a cushion for the poolside loungers, but although supplied it was not put out again or offered. Snorkelling gear can be supplied but a bit on the expensive side at IDR50,000 a day for fins only. There was no kettle in the room. Taxi charges was way too much compared to taxis in Denpasar, Sanur, Ulan Danu and others, by about IDR 200,000 so this did not leave me with a good impression.

Location is really nice, with lovely sea views and diving facilities. My room was spacious with en-suite shower facilities and a verandah. Bed and pillows were comfortable and the aircon worked satisfactorily. Snorkelling and diving entry/exit to the sea is a little difficult but due to the big stony beach, not the resort. The pool is really nice as are the showering and rinsing facilities outside. It is easy to reach the shops in the village.

It's not a big deal, but the rooms could do with more electric sockets. Also, payment for the room and restaurant are separate. Again, it's not a big deal, yet it would be simpler to pay for everything together. No credit card payment facilities.

The location is excellent, with the Coral Garden right in front of the hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. The room, though very basic, was clean and spacious with a wide, comfortable bed and good air-conditioning. The bathroom had hot water, a complimentary soap bar, and a towel. The windows were covered in netting (the bathroom isn't air-conditioned). The room had one socket above the bed where the bed light was situated. So, having a double socket adapter is a good idea. There's no coffee/tea/kettle in the room. However, the restaurant is open from 7am till late. The restaurant is right on the seafront, serving good traditional indonisain food. The pool is also near the beach and is clean and a good size. The hotel is geared for scuba divers, and as it has just reopened after being shut for four years, the hotel is planning to renovate all the current facilities for scuba diving. It is the oldest hotel in Tulamben, and it has charm & character a great potential. N.B. make sure you have enough cash to pay for your stay as the only local ATM limits withdrawal to 2,500,000.

There were cockroaches in the bathroom when we arrived, that seemed to be coming from the bathroom drain. Wish they would put some kind of metal mesh into the drains. Out Solution was to put a stone to block it when it was not in use, which seemed to keep them out. Although cockroaches is really common everywhere in Indonesia, so I would not disqualify the place on that premise.

*Fantastic location with a nice Coral Garden right there and USAT liberty shipwreck 300 meters away *Helpfull staff, that gave us advise about the city and helped us with transportation to our next stay, they also allowed us to trade the included pancakes in the breakfast for eggs prepared in a variety of ways. *Room was nice, but get the one with aircondition, even though the price is very steep, it is well worth it. If in doubt about where to live in Tulamben, then I can assure you that the location of this Resort i phenomenal. Which was the reason we chose it.

Gede and the staff were wonderful in accommodating all our requests. The location was perfect for diving and snorkeling the reef, the food from the restaurant was excellent. The pool and surrounds were great.

All the equipment was old. Very old! I knew there was no air conditioning but with the fan it was storm or nothing. Also it could not be adjusted but turned wildly all the time. The bathroom seemed to have been "cleaned" with the shower head shortly before my arrival. There is no bum gun. The door does not close flush, so all the caterpillars were travelling around the room. The door to the bathroom was covered with rotten aluminium foil. There was a single power socket, not even near the bed.

Directly on the beach. Kind owners.

It was too quiet! Hahah not enough people staying there

We had the best time at Paradise Palms, they had just reopened after being shut down for 4 years due to covid. The rooms were clean and even though we didn't get an air conditioned room the fan was powerful and plenty to keep us cool. We hardly spent any time in the room because the common area with the restaurant and pool was so nice. We also didn't end up eating anywhere except for the restaurant because it was so yummy and cheap! It was the best place to stay while snorkelling. You could walk straight into the Coral Gardens and when you come out go straight into the pool or shower to rinse off Will definitely be coming back here and bringing all our friends. Cannot reccomend this place enough!
