We arrived 20 mins before check in time. Instead of being invited to sit by the lobby pool, we were left standing around. The street out the front was under construction. This made it hard to walk around and for our driver to get to us. There weren't enough towels and there were no hand towels. There was a stain on one bed. We asked for breakfast by the pool but it was served in our room. The next day we were informed that breakfast wasn't included with our second night. Our small private pool was dusty and needed skimming. It also was a bit small 4m X 2m and shallow. They needed to do extra credit card transaction for mini bar which got stuffed up so we had to do another. They already had our credit card details and one transaction would have been better for bank fees. There were only 3 chairs at the table. I found the elite and opulant vibe a difficult contrast to the location. Staff were not very smiley or friendly. These are all small things but they explain our scores.

The lobby pool is delightful. Our family villa with pool suited the family needs. It was clean and pleasant. The beds are very comfy.

nothing as such

the hotel is clean and spacious. we were a big group of 20+ people mostly returning back to hotel after long meetings outside. but the rooms and services were good.

Communication. On the first 2 days of our stay, we didn't have hairdryer as it was fully booked. The staff promised us to provide it by next day's evening. On the next day's evening, I couldn't find that staff , and I reached out to another instead, but she was not informed of the hairdryer that I have requested, so the second day we didn't have hairdryer either. The second staff also promised me to provide me on the next day, but the same thing repeated on the third day. The second staff was not found, and I found the first staff, and she was 'shocked' that we didn't have hairdryer. Only after I expressed my frustration, she only went to find the hairdryer for us. Wifi was sometimes slow. Tip to the management: If you have 50 rooms, you don't buy 50 hairdryers. You buy at least 1.5x the amount you need.

Location. Quiet place, away from hustles of the road. I like that I can sleep peacefully without the noise from the road.

Breakfast was meager with limited options for vegetarians. The in-suite kitchen that we used only to boil hot water was not sufficiently stocked with utensils. It could do with at least a microwave oven to reheat leftover food from outside.

The location was ideal, especially with respect to the Werdhi Budaya Centre, where the month-long annual Bali Arts Festival was taking place (within walking distance through narrow alleys). The grounds were green and pleasant to walk around. The buildings and our room were spacious and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Naomi at the reception. There is a computer repair shop nearby where I could check out my laptop that was not charging properly. A provisions store is nearby to stock up the fridge with juices, milk, fruits, etc.

The room is right in front of the lobby, we didn't feel like using it at all, the bedroom I had had a window to the corridor which made my room very bright during the night. On the check-out the staff tried to charge me money for dirty towels which already had stains.

The neighbourhood around the hotel is not well maintained. Walking is generally not possible due to traffic and a lack of walkways. Breakfast can only be served in the rooms, however there is only one chair per room. Meaning one has to either eat on the bed sitting down or whilst standing if not traveling solo.

The hotel is quite close to the airport. The rooms are generally clean and spacious. The room contained a small kitchen. Great gojek/grab service in the area.
