Maybe a few English lessons for the personel contacting the visitors would be a good investment.

Lovina Beach Hotel is always a superb place to stay. Authentic Hotel, close to the beach an acceptable comfortable comparing Kuta or Sanur. Friendly and nice personel always willing to serve. Acceptable distance from good restaurants and warungs.

As many properties in the area, cleanliness could be improved, but was still ok.

Literally on the beach, with direct access. Room are very spacious, and AC is working, which is necessary in lovina. Considering the price it is a great deal!

Steps for upstairs rooms are a bit high. Nothing to worry if you're young but definitely I would ask before book to double check in case you can't step up properly

Perfect location, you can access the beach from the property. Nice and good maintenance area. Very friendly staff, I did the dolphin tour through the hotel and it was perfect.

The pool was a bit green so unfortunately I didn't want to swim in it which was a disappointment, although it was a lovely area to lay around. I didn't realise a 3 day festival would be on at the time so the tents blocked much of the view for 4 days and the noise from really loud rock music until late at night was awful, not the hotels fault but I wish I was informed beforehand and I could have changed my dates around.

The staff were absolutely wonderful, just so friendly,happy and welcoming it truly was a treat. Lovely ocean view from the room,which was cleaned every day. Its an old hotel which could do with a bit of bathroom maintenance but for the price I was pleasantly surprised. Lovely food, I enjoyed all of my meals in the restaurant. The grounds were kept beautifully and the sunsets just wow.

Beach full trash (seen whole piles of trash next sea during a night walk at the beach). The water was murky and devoid of much life. Only real option if you are into snorkeling or diving was to book a tour to the neighbouring island of Menjangan. The snorkeling trip to the local reef just isn't worth it and neither is the dolphin trip which involves a ton of boats chasing after a small pod of dolphins and 3min underwater visual while hanging from a piece of wood and being dragged in the water by the boat.

The property being as old as it is needs major maintenance. On arrival we walked into a run down paint peeling reception with no soul. While our room was clean it was in need of a lick of paint. For such a big room why such a small bed (even though comfy). Burning plastic adjacent to our room was at times unbearable to the point my husband took a hose to it.

Location on the beach front was wonderful as were the staff. Appreciated being given the room by the beach.

Decor and infrastructure in some rooms needs improvement. The central location means that there is some noise from a nearby bar, but only until around 11 pm.

Old style Bali hotel right on the beach in central location with a lovely garden and on site restaurant. There were rooms to suit a variety of budgets. The staff were psofessional and friendly, and lots of them to help guests.

It's a really lovely homestay, there's shared kitchen on every floor so it's very convenient. It's close enough to the beach and eateries but also far enough from the busy areas.

There is nothing in the hotel to complain about. Rooms are basic but have air con, towels and toothpaste provided too.

Location to the Dolphin Cruise meeting point couldn't have been better. The pool was lovely and a blessing in the heat. The restaurant staff were all so friendly and the food and drinks were excellent. Great value for money

While the location was good, there wasn’t a lot you could do in the local area. Another problem we had was that the pool was undergoing maintenance our stay but we were only told the day we arrived, which was annoying as we had mainly booked for the pool facilities as the beach wasn’t amazing to relax/swim in.

The staff were amazing, very accommodating and there for any needs. The free breakfast was really yummy with food options available all day. The room was very spacious with a lovely porch area out the front with a nice beach view. They also offered lots of activities for a good price at reception.

We booked a superior bungalow for 2 nights in early June 2024. The room was very old but clean, it did have water marks on some walls. The bathroom was old and had no hand towel supplied.

Staff were fantastic Pool was great, enjoyed some drinks around the pool in the afternoon. Lovely dinner and very affordable. Great location, near the beach and close to other warungs, spas and the Pepito supermarket.
