- The bungalow is aging visibly, but that may be more a matter of the original build quality. Like, the carpentry/painting work makes some pieces look worn out. It should not bother you. - As others write, noise from fellow visitors around the pool or in front of their bungalow can bother a bit. And shower water pressure is on the low side and the pool may have a few insects floating in it. But not a big deal. I realize that truly keeping a pool clean may require investments for a filtering/pressure pump etc. - This is more of a suggestion, but when being led to the room we asked "is there something we should know?" and we got a look from the employee as if that was a really dumb question. Well, actually, there are a few things. E.g. the power outlets for the water cooker only activate when the main light switch above the bed is on; the air conditioner remote control has Portuguese buttons, so not completely evident for most visitors; there are 2 nearly identical black remote controls for the television and decoder, and you need both to make it work.

Overall good value. Especially, staff really tried their best and were helpful. The garden/grass etc are well-maintained. So the surroundings look nice. Pool is pleasant. Bed/pillow/linen are excellent. Mosquito net around a large standing frame worked well.

Everything, the room, the friendly staff, gardens, pool, the restaurant next to the lagoon filled with lotus flowers. It’s in the middle of town, across from Vincents restaurant, we loved our stay here.

Breakfast disapointing, did not return after first try. 4 choices only. Only one with coffee/tea included. Only omelete or scrambled eggs. Could do better here.

The only complaint is the when we arrived I asked for some milk for my tea in the morning. Was given a glass and charged $2.50.

A curtain on the glass door between the two bathrooms would have made the area feel more private.

The Cottage, Resort, Pool, restaurant, and staff were all fantastic, I really felt welcomed and looked after especially travelling solo! I was amazed at the price fabulous value. Would I go back…… YES!!!

Outdoor shower didn't work but no problem.

Edi and Petu nori were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated edi teaching me some more of the language. Hardens and pool were beautful and well maintained. Markt, good wine shop and warungs close by.

Was a pleasant stay the 48, really kind staff and clean spacious rooms. Close to Virgin Beach. Extra Thanky you to the management, had a wrong booking and refunded the other room. Easy communication and nice staff.

Better to book directly through the hotel instead of booking sites as they seen to have a problem with double booking!

The fact that they had double booked the two rooms I had already paid for the previous month, therefore I was left with one room short and a mess to sort out trying to find other accommodation!!!

The private villa is a little run down and could use some maintenance but this didn’t bother us.

We stayed in the private villa with private pool, nice to have some extra space and the pool was great. Beds were very comfortable, air con good too.

bugs in bed

Best staff ever - best ville ever! we stayed at the villa with private pool, which our kid loved. everything was well prepared and taken care of by the staff - breakfast, coffee, pool, sheets etc. But they will leave you at peace if you ask not to clean. We had a situation with bugs in beds in the villa but they gave us another even cleanier house near the big pool. So even though i was bitten by the bugs on whole body, they did their best to compensate. They also have nice restaurant with shisha.
