The property is well looked after , there were plenty of outdoor seating around the pool and by each house , the staff where amazing and there family dog hunny was the sweetest .

Check in process was a bit strange and they tried to give us a less good room. Quite a lot of external noise from generators and building work. Pool area didn't seem that enticing or well looked after. Location is a long way up that hill on a moped.

The split level room (bathroom downstairs) was nice. The bed was comfy. The ladies that run the place were nice!

There are several roosters around the area and some of them decided to wake up at 3 AM. They are pretty close to the accommodation so if you are light sleeper then it´s impossible to ignore them. They won´t shut up until everyone is awake. :) Just make sure you wear your earbuds.

Seems like the water is turned off during the middle of the night. Variety of food and drinks was a bit limited.

Despite being up in the hill which means far from the main road so that the noise of the cars, we heard the noise of all kind of birds, insects, cock and creatures of nature 😅 around 3 in the morning that woke us up and made quite difficult to sleep.

The environment is nice, the facilities, the pool, the shared areas. The bungalows are pretty. They have the bed upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. The staff is quite nice and kind. They offered a variety of facilities like renting a motorbike, the boat to Gili islands with its previous transfer. The breakfast was included, at least in our booking.

Huge lizard/tokay in room at night, the cabins are not air tight at all. Shower only had a trickle of water coming through. The pool was pretty filthy. The manta snorkeling trips organised from here are a bit of a rip off and disorganised, especially when no mantas seen. Staff not hugely responsive, didn’t get back to us about massages and had to ask a few times about organising snorkeling. Temple nearby with loud praying but that’s just Bali, so bring earplugs 🙂

However, the roosters/chickens will have you up from 5am onwards and they continue for hours so if you’re a light sleep and like to sleep in then you might not get the best nights sleep. The blankets are also quite thin and a different material to the regular duvet you get which wasn’t a problem for me but my partner was very fidgety as a result.

Beautiful cottages up on the hills of a scenic drive. Lovely staff. It’s a very unique opportunity and one that i’m glad I booked last min. The cottages are very coool and I definitely recommend.

It is pretty noise there during the night so if you are light sleeper you are not going to sleep long. Although we had a nice time and it is a good value for money

You will have to pay cash on arrival, there are various animals which can keep you up at night, although this is no fault of the hosts, just the rural location.

Make sure if you book a driver with the hotel to remind them several times! Unfortunately they have forgotten me. Also keep in mind that to get to this hotel by scooter can be very challenging as its on a steep hill.

There is no towel. I was locked in a bathroom coz the door was old 😅 The toilet flush didn't work very well so I needed to pee under shower.

It can get noisy as they aren’t insulated, so the noise travels and you can hear most things around you. Also the WiFi is a little slow but that makes sense as you are on an island. Also during the day the aircon struggles to keep the room cool.
