The wifi was intermittent and the breakfast was pretty meager. The location as well seemed pretty far from everything.

The property was very nice, and the room was uniquely decorated. It was very quiet as well.

While it can be a little out of the way, with the Gojek app a taxi to anywhere in Denpasar won’t cost you more than £5. Realistically this renders the location irrelevant as it is a lovely and helpful place to stay! The only gripe I have is the dogs and roosters that stay in the nearby properties, they can be loud at some points. However, the aircon and closed windows typically minimise this issue.

Beautiful gardens and living spaces, all smelled lovely and very clean! The staff sorted us an airport transfer so we could skip all the drivers hassling you at the airport. They also let us check out late as our flight wasn’t till much later the same day, which we greatly appreciated! The customer service here is completely unmatched. The toilet facilities are also extremely pleasant as one bathroom is a walled off outdoor shower and toilet, it provides all the same privacy as your bathroom at home with a locking door and such but the roof is open for some lovely views and vibes.

Our room was very beautiful, spacious and clean. We enjoyed the patio and the size, also aircon and big wardrobe are available. There is a kitchen u can use and free water. U can rent a scooter directly fron them and staff is very helpful. Really nice place, and via scooter you can reach sanur in 15 mins

One of the best place I stayed in bali!! My two last night before flying home, It was what I needed! I had the double room with the balcony and it was a little heaven! It's a quiet place, clean and confortable, breakfast included! low price, good price/quality !! The owner is so sweet! I will come here again if I come back to bali :D

I can’t complain about this property, everything was amazing. It was clean, the staff, owner and family was very helpful all the time. I would come back. Just make sure you check the location if you are expecting something very touristic. for me the location was perfect enough because I was there just while I arrived to Indonesia because my destiny was another island. However while my stay some other guest did not check the location and they got surprised about the location.

The staff here were so nice, we landed at midnight and didn't end up getting to the accommodation until 2am. I kept in touch with the owner who told me we could do self check-in or a staff member would be there. A staff member came out to greet us when we arrived in the taxi from the airport. Air con was already on, so lovely and cool in the room. Lovely hot shower, we also appreciated breakfast which was a selection of cereals and toast with a selection of spreads. Fresh milk was also provided for the coffee as well as orange juice. The place itself is lovely and quiet and the gardens are beautiful

Ade, the primary contact for the accommodation, was very communicative once I booked the room. His English is certainly advanced enough to fulfill most, if not all, of your needs. He offered a ride from the airport to his facilities, and I strongly suggest you take advantage of this service.; Upon exiting the airport, you'll encounter a wall of drivers holding up names and a small group of people offering transport services, which may require negotiation. I have confirmed that his price is competitive. I met the driver, and we proceeded to the hotel by car, which took about an hour. Upon arrival, Ade himself greeted me, along with another individual who helped carry my luggage. Ade ensured I was hooked up to the Wi-Fi immediately, which allowed me to transfer payment directly to the driver. Katang-katang is located away from the city center, although it is still within the city of Denpasar. It is very quiet, which is what I wanted. You will hear a howling wind which blows across the tops of the numerous trees that surround Katang-katang. I think it's absolutely brilliant. Naturally, you will hear a cacophony of fantastic bird sounds as well. If you enjoy these natural sounds, you'll be perfectly happy at Ade's place. The Accommodation is amongst a typical Balinese neighborhood, so you will get the feeling of what that's like. Just outside the gate and to the left, there's a charming little shop selling a variety of household items, snacks, and cold beer. There appears to be a cultural acceptance of barking dogs in Bali. Occasionally they will bark and moan, but if you can put up with that, then you will have no real issue. I asked for a quiet place and good internet speed. That's what I got. The breakfast was a lovely bonus. I could drink as much coffee as I liked.

This is a simple, lovely guesthouse halfway between the airport and Ubud. Lovely garden, quiet neighborhood, hot water shower, decent internet, adequate breakfast, good mattress… overall terrific value for the price.
