The entrance stairs

This is family operated homestay. Facility is kind of historic building and is partially remodeled for renting. Agus, the owner 's son is very friendly, help us for few tours. The only thing is the entrance stairs, about 30 steps, which is harder if you have a suitcase. But the staff can help. Location is closed to many attractions. Highly recommended

We stayed at Kampung Sari for 5 days and it was the best time ever. The family is kind, available and always reliable. The room was perfectly clean and quiet. Breakfast always good and on time. The position is in the center of Ubud, close to the Palace and Monkey Forest.

We don't usually leave reviews, but this place truly stole our hearts. Spending our last few days in Bali here was like a dream. The room was cozy and inviting, the views were absolutely breathtaking, and the peacefulness was just what we needed. The breakfast each morning was a delightful treat, but what made our stay truly unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. They made us feel so welcome and cherished. We are deeply grateful for the wonderful experience and would come back in a heartbeat. We also took advantage of their laundry service, which was impeccable. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts.

For less agile travellers, worth noting that the property is not on street level and accessible by a fairly steep flight of stone steps. Once you reach the property, the rooms are on the 2nd floor. So not ideal for those with physical challenges or a lot of luggage. Able bodied travellers with light backpacks would find it a great place to stay.

Super value, great location, and thoughtful touches like a water dispenser in the corridor. No TV, so very zen. As many have written, great shower pressure and effective aircon.

The bathroom was nice, though had open vents outside that couldn’t be closed, so there was no way to ‘seal’ it completely from mosquitos. Their (otherwise very cute) puppy barked a bit at people walking past!

The location was exceptionally central, and yet it was quiet, in a hidden courtyard. The room was comfortable.

The bathroom was slightly smelly but this is understandable and didn’t ruin my stay at all.

This is a lovely wee place that is so central but back off the street so quiet and dig you’re in the top floors the view are amazing!

From the road, you have to walk up a flight of stairs. It’ll be challenging if you have mobility issues or if you have a heavy or bulky luggage. When we arrived, motorbikes were blocking the stairs so it was challenging to get our bags in.

It was in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast too. The rooms were clean and it was serviced on request.

A lovely family run homestay set back from the main road (so very quiet considering its location on the main street). The owners were very sweet and the rooms were very nice. Simple but clean and comfortable. Great value for amount paid.

It is right in town and walking distance to restaurants, stores and hiking trails. Hosts very friendly and helpful. The place is quiet, although along the main road but rooms are set in. Great view of mountains from room corridor, where breakfast is served.

The pillow had mold under the cover, I told the owner and they brought me new pillows. If I hadn't checked, I would have literally been breathing mold. That was the only bad thing, she apologized and fixed it quickly.

The location is fantastic, right on one of the busiest streets of the city centre of Ubud. The breakfast was ok, and my room was cute, with free drinkable water and options for coffee or tea. The room was looking clean, except for one thing... The price is ok for a homestay.
