Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomIt's not a dislike but something to note it's about 20-25 mins to Ubud centre at peak times. Also logistically for us it was it was tricky not having an internal interconnecting door in the two bed villa with two kids. Next time we would just need to book the family villa instead! None of this would put us off staying again. It's beautiful! Everything was spotlessly clean too!
Jero Sebali is a place of complete serenity, tranquility and genuine Balinese culture. The hosts are truly the nicest people you will ever meet. Absolutely nothing is too much to ask. The breakfast is lovely, set beautiful amongst all the foliage with traditional music playing. The outdoor showers are lovely, powerful and warm.

United KingdomShowers not very powerful but wasn’t a problem. We were a bit scared to use the bathroom as it was partly outside!
Family adorable who run it. Hotel lovely & clean. Great pool for my son & husband to use (shared). Beds very comfy. Massage wonderful! They could do enough for you. Drop off to the bail garden sunset which did good food.

United KingdomStunning property nestled within temples and rice fields. Go through the gates and enter a peaceful haven and a warm welcome. Bedroom and bathroom were spacious and beautiful with windows that looked onto the oasis of a pool. Everything was calm, serene, spotlessly clean and the perfect place to recharge away from the noise and hustle of central Ubud. Partha and his family were so kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious. Fresh juice, fruits, omelettes and toast with Balinese coffee. I love coconuts and Partha was more than happy to pick a fresh coconut or two whilst we were staying. It’s a huge 10 out of 10 from my daughter and I. Thank you so much to everyone at Jero Sabali. A perfect and beautiful place to stay and relax.

AustraliaThe breakfast was nice but could be improved a little offering better quality bread and a few extra condiments. Even if they charge a little more. But overall still nice.
The management and staff were very helpful friendly and went out of their way to help. They have a driver available for you and some places they took us they didn’t even charge. They were able to book in-house massages also.

TaiwanFor a more serene enjoyment, the location is slightly away from the city center, but this is acceptable in Bali where taxis are relatively inexpensive.
The owner Partha and his wife were extremely kind and warmly welcomed us, always offering tea and coffee! The indoor space of the accommodation was arranged comfortably, with appropriate fresh flowers adding an excellent visual touch. The outdoor space had an Ubud, Bali, atmosphere that was better than expected, offering a place to relax the mind. We only stayed one night at this beautiful villa, which was a mistake. If you have enough time, make sure to relax here. I uploaded some photos of the local accommodation on Booking.com, where you will see the cozy room and enjoy the outdoor swimming pool with a strong local vibe, creating memories that are more unforgettable than any 5-star hotel.

United KingdomAbsolutely NOTHING to dislike!!!
If we could give this place a 12, we would. From the moment we arrived till we left, we were made to feel like part of the family. Partha and all his family and team were just amazing. The Jero Sebali Villa was like a small piece of paradise on the outskirts of Ubud. The accommodation itself was just amazing, from the large comfortable bed to the wonderful bathroom and the outside terrace. The great size pool was absolutely perfect for a swim and a chance to cool off. They supplied a daily drop-off and pick-up service into the centre of Ubud for free. They also offered driver services to anywhere you wanted to go for a small charge, and absolutely nothing was of any trouble to them. The breakfast was included in the price of our room and was fantastic. Lots of fruit, choice of eggs with toast and jam, tea/coffee, and a glass of juice. We also had their nasi goreng and mia goreng dishes that they will cook for you, which can be eaten in the breakfast/bar area, or they will deliver them to your room. Our stay at the Jero Sebali Villas was, without doubt, one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had (if not the best), and it all came at an unbelievable price. We couldn't recommend this place enough!!!!!👌😊❤️ Thanks again to everyone at Jero Sebali for making our stay in Ubud unforgettable.

Delicious complimentary breakfast each morning, with amazing coffee fresh fruit. Partha and his beautiful family accommodated all our requests and made us feel very welcome. Would highly recommend and definitely staying here for our next trip to Ubud, Bali.

The property, pool and gardens are beautiful, amazing traditional Bali family home. The hosts were the best we have experienced in many years of travel. Partha and his family couldn’t have done more. The location may not suit everyone, but we loved it. A short drive (free daily shuttle) to Ubud and perfect for exploring the Bali countryside. We used motorbikes to visit temples, rice terraces and local restaurants. The hosts will also take you to local restaurants each night and book any tours or trips you desire. The breakfast was great and they provide tea, coffee and iced tea whenever you would like at no additional charge.

The hosts were very accommodating and helped me to arrange various trips around Bali, which I did most days. They offer a daily shuttle into Ubud, where there are many restaurants and shops to browse (if you need a lazy day). The food was great (10/10 for banana pancakes!) and the pool was also lovely. The room was always clean and tidy (and I very much appreciated the AC!). The whole atmosphere was very relaxing- I would 100% recommend a stay!
