The bathroom could have had a better light.

The place is great, the location isn't exactly close to the center but great. The rooms are specious, clean and great value for the money. Bonus is the treat in the morning that we received. By far the best banana pancake we had in Bali

The owner is the sweetest woman ever! She made sure that I got some tea apon arrival (I arrived late) and when I had to leave she placed my bags on the Gojek scooter to make sure I was comfortable. The room was big and beautiful, also with lots of room for your clothes, so perfect for longer stays as well. You can fill up your water bottle there, and there are the cutest kittens at the property. Overall 10/10 - I will be back

I love this place. I love Ayu the host. She is super friendly and checks in on us every now and then. The rooms are always kept clean, I was lucky to get the room with the balcony on the second floor, and I love the view so much as pictured in the photos. The location is about 20min walk to Ubud central - so you get the best of both worlds, the quiet and stillness when you're resting and also to enjoy the town for the activities. Even though we stayed for three nights I wish we could stay a lot longer and get to know Ayu and Ubud better.

This place was amazing! The rooms had been very clean, every day we received new towels and cleaning in the room. The host is Ayuu and she is such a nice person, she made us to feel like a family. I most enjoyed the times when we sat and talked about our cultures and life in general. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, certainly if I return this is the place I will return to.

I loved everything about Jero Griya. The location, the cleanliness, my view of the beautiful garden, feeling safe as a solo woman traveler, the home-like energy, but especially the kindness of Ayu and her family. I wanted to extend my stay, but unfortunately, all rooms were booked up. I will definitely come back. Thank you so much for everything, all the help, and bringing coffee to my room every morning. You will be missed.

We had a great stay! The family made us feel very welcome. They went above and beyond with service (including waking up at 2 am to make sure our driver picked us up for our tour to Mt Batur). 100% recommend this hotel. Clean rooms, great location!

We lived in this hotel for a wonderful week. And it was the best time. If you are comparing different options, don't even think about choosing this one. Everything about it is great: very clean (for us this was the most important thing), the rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the terrace is cozy. We were moved to a room with a beautiful view. And most importantly, the people here are wonderful, they helped with any question, they were very friendly. We took breakfast several times: they cut us a variety of fruits, eggs and pancakes, and coffee! This was our first hotel in Bali and it was the best decision. We sincerely recommend!

The only drawback is a slight drainage issue in the bathroom, leading to some water accumulation. I sincerely hope this aspect can be addressed through maintenance or repairs for an even more pleasant experience. Overall I still highly recommend to stay here while visit Ubud.

The owner is remarkably attentive in maintaining the rooms. She was so friendly and helpful, make sure my taxi has arrived and help me with the luggage. The air conditioning is notably new and quiet, providing a spacious and clean, comfortable environment. The breakfast was the highlight, starting the day with hot savory dishes and fresh fruits accompanied by juices—10/10 simply perfect. Will stay here again on my next visit to Ubud.

I am very impressed with my stay at Jero Griya. First and foremost, it is the atmosphere of the place that I truly valued during my stay. I've stayed for 10 days and throughout my whole stay, the hosts made sure that I had everything I needed. The breakfast was superb and really accommodating of my needs. The room was great and all my requests were accounted for. Great air conditioner, clean, comfortable. Always great to connect with Ayu, whose presence and help really made me feel welcomed. I am leaving feeling very fond of this place and with lots of gratitude. Looking forward to more developments for this place in the future!

Everything was great.

My stay was amazing. The host, Ayu, was super helpful and kind. She made sure I had everything I needed all the time. This is a Balinese family homestay, while the family leaves in front, the rooms are in the back. This is great for having a silent space, even though in a busy street. I loved the private balcony and the view from the room (second floor). The room was big, with a good bathroom, space to work, and mini-fridge. The wifii worked well. This place is just 10 min walk from the Ubud Palace. I could do everything by foot. There are several cafes and restaurants close by. The access is very easy.

There is nothing to dislike about this place! Location is amazing. It’s right by the center .5 miles to Ubud palace but at the same time it is just outside so you don’t have much noise going on. On top of that the shining star are the host. She is beyond AMAZING. She is so helpful in every way and caring. This will make your trip! I will definitely be back. :)
