Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaI didn’t like how the doona cover wasn’t replaced with every new guest, you could see it wasn’t fresh linen, I didn’t like that the safe in the room didn’t work electronically, asked to be fixed, only way it worked was with a key & everytime you had a shower it flooded the bathroom, not very relaxing cleaning up after having a shower, breakfast was very average
I loved the two pools in the property especially the 1 overlooking the rice fields, loved watching the farmer attend to his ducks

SpainI gave it a 9 because the hot water was non-existent, the first day was a little bit better though not really hot. The second day, it never got warm. But, since we were there for only 2 days it's not a big deal, and the rest of the experience was really good.
I had been in Ubud for a month, and came back for a weekend with a friend, and I'm so glad I picked this location. It was great for our schedule but the small hotel exceeded my expectations. The view from the pool to rice field is nice, the room is very confortable and they even lent us an umbrella when we left on a rainy day trip. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner we had one of the nights was also good. The beds were comfy and the room was perfect for 2 people with enough storage and benches for our things.

AustraliaBeds were nice and big, but uncomfortable and hard. The shower was in the bath and the shower head was very high, with no shower curtain, so the bathroom floor would get wet. The shower also leaked. Safety deposit box was not secured to the cupboard and could just be picked up.
Staff were lovely. Great location.

AustraliaBathroom had no shower curtain so water went on floor when showering. Soaking bath mat. Bed/mattress a little on the hard side. Rooms a little dark needed to open curtains to let some natural light in but would recommend and stay here again. Very narrow drive into property.
Had 2 pools which was great. One near the bar/restaurant and another overlooking a rice field. The pool towels where nice and fluffy and the grounds where lush and green. The rooms were nice and large with heaps of storage. Aircon worked really well and also had a ceiling fan. Location good easy walk to monkey forest and main drag with some great places to eat not far away. Very quiet and serene. Would stay here again.

AustraliaOur little fridge didn't work and smelled when we arrived, but when we told them they came and grabbed it and quickly replaced with a working one, just thought it should have been noted before we arrived. Pillows were huge and high and hard! But that's only a small thing. Bathroom had glass door n window, which would have been fine, the door was frosted, but the blind on the full length window showing out to the bedroom was broken, so didn't close. It was a friend and myself there, so we just sat on the balcony when the other was showering cos you could see everything. Water pressure and shower head was really crap. Just a couple of small things, but it didn't bother us too much.
We had an upstairs premium room overlooking the pool and the rice fields. It was a lovely large room and great sized balcony with a gorgeous view. For the price it was fantastic value. It was lovely and quiet and never had a problem getting a bed by the pool. The staff were so friendly and willing to help with any request. Location was perfect for our needs. We couldn't have asked for anything more perfect. The gardens are beautiful. They had a water cooler in the little restaurant that you could top your water up with anytime. Happily gave us buckets of ice when we wanted it. My friend that I was staying with got a coffee each morning and said it was some of the best coffee she'd had.

GermanyThe ventilator in our room was broken, I like to sleep with the ventilator on at night against mosquitos. There was also no mosquito net so I got bitten a lot. The staff told me that they could not fix the ventilator during the stay. In the bathroom, there was no water pressure (1th floor flat) and no shower curtain so I had to lay down in the bathtub to shower which took ages due to the extremely low water pressure. For the price range of this hotel I would expect a working shower and a shower curtain.
The location, the garden, the super friendly staff

MaldivesCars are hesitant to enter the hotel's entrance because the pathway is narrow but still possible for cars to come through especially if you have many or big luggage/s
The rooms are spacious and cozy, offering a relaxing view of the rice fields to wake up to. Guests are encouraged to fill out a breakfast form and choose one ala carte meal per person, although the portions are ample and satisfying. The staff are friendly and accommodating, contributing to the overall peaceful atmosphere. Nearby restaurants and establishments are easily accessible on foot, and ordering through Grab is also an option within the area.

United KingdomThe curtains didn’t block out all the light so it was quite bright in the mornings (6:30-7) so bring an eye mask if you like to sleep in!
We loved our stay here! The hotel was really nice, huge room which was cleaned every day whilst you have breakfast with fresh towels and water, private balcony with table chairs and clothes horse to dry your things which was really handy! Breakfast was good, both pools were nice and really easy to get a sun bed, staff were lovely and the location was great! Near to lots of nice restaurants on the road and 10/15 min walk to the more busy streets and shops but on a quieter street so not loud at all at night. WiFi was good.

ArubaAC as mentioned in first room was not working. Shower curtain was missing. nothing else really
Our first room on second floor was OK, but Airconditioning did not work. Second room same issue. Third room was fantastic. Good AC, big size. ( room was ground floor right next to pool and facing rice paddies) and clean Only problem both rooms had was that there was no shower curtain or curtain bar and the bathroom got very wet every time we showered. The side of the wall was also lower than tub itself so it leaked from there as well. Breakfast was nice , there is a laundry up the street, area felt safe and close enough to attractions like Monkey forest and downtown Nice pools

United KingdomThe room smelled like damp, and not possible to have natural light and privacy. Bathroom a little bit tired but completely functional!
The outside gardens in the hotel are really beautiful and peaceful. The pool overlooks a rice paddy and the road it is on is still very close to everything but quieter than the parallel roads. The room was very big and the bed was very comfortable.

AustraliaBreakfast was good, but not fabulous.
The location was fabulous, just off the monkey forest road, but close to everything. The lil hotel is beautiful & well-maintained. We stayed twice over the time spent in Ubud area. The first time the rooms, in the older part of the hotel, were ok, about a 7/10. The second time we stayed in the newer part of the hotel & the rooms were fabulous. 10/10 for a 4 star hotel.

AustraliaBeautiful staff, two lovely pools, both very tranquil. There was construction going on but that’s to be expected in the low season. Initially they gave me a different room to what I had booked, however I was able to move to the other room the following day without too much hassle. Location is very convenient… central but away from the chaos.

AustraliaI don’t see the need of plastic bottles in the room, because there’s water at the restaurant and customers can just refill their water bottles. Less plastic is better :) It was a shame the rice fields has been harvested but obviously that does not depend on the hotel ;)
Hotel is well positioned in a quiet area of central Ubud. Super extra comfy big bed. Very good breakfast and tea/coffee available in the room. Complementary fresh water available at the restaurant. 2 pools. Lovely architecture. Private balcony. Lots of plants.
