The best accommodation we have ever stayed in! Location: Beautiful location with rice fields surrounding the cottages. Short walk to some local restaurants. Food: Simple menu with delicious food and flexible breakfast hours! It was also served to us on our balcony which was an unexpected bonus! Rooms: Large, comfortable, spotlessly clean, quiet and well equipped. There was even a large water dispenser so you can reuse your bottles. The highlight, the staff! Kadek and his team were absolutely brilliant. They were all so kind, professional and helpful. Kadek really goes above and beyond for his guests. I’ve never experienced a place quite like it. I cannot recommend this place enough.

The hospitality provided by Kadek, the owner, was exceptional. From the day we arrived at the cottage until the day we departed, Kadek always greeted us with a warm smile. On one occasion, when we returned late at night, he even messaged us to ensure our safety and offered to pick us up if needed. It wasn't intrusive; rather, it demonstrated genuine care. Whenever we visit Ubud in the future, we will undoubtedly choose to stay at the same place. Thank you, Kadek, for being such a wonderful host!

We stayed at the cottages as a group , three generations. Beautiful garden and swimming pool, quiet , small and great homely atmosphere. I really enjoy staying in a place where the host , kadek , is clearly proud of his accommodation, understands hospitality and cares for his guests.

The Coconut Cottage is ideally suited for day trips in and around Ubud. The garden with pool is well maintained and lovely. Kadek and the team were from the beginning to the end great hosts and always charming and helpful. I recommend it if you like a silent place in Ubud located in-between nature with great service.

Only con is that the breakfast although delicious is repeated daily.

Its a small resort with 5 villas. Beautiful green surroundings. Spacious, clean rooms. They are also cleaned daily when you step out. Excellent smiling service. Kadek goes above and beyond to ensure the guest has a good time. Heated and neat pool. Bikes for rent available on-site.

This accommodation has the most beautiful garden of all the ones I've booked here and the location (in the middle of the rice fields, far away from the traffic madness of Ubud) is like an oasis. The perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy. The whole thing was perfected by Kadek, the owner. He is exceptionally attentive and really takes care of every comfort you need. He always had a kind word for me and he has a wonderful sense of humor. The staff were incredibly helpful and super friendly. I was totally happy that I was allowed to stay 3 days longer than planned and was correspondingly sad when my stay came to an end. I would love to come back.

For a long stay, breakfast options would get boring. Accomodation basics are clean - if you look further deep cleaning could be better (edges, kitting, behind closets)… but then again, accommodation wise this not the Ritz (hospitality wise though…)..

Location is nicely located as fall-out base for day trips. Easily accessible and offers all the necessities for a stay. Through the property owner (mr. Kadek) we were able to plan multiple sightings and day trips whilst minimizing travel time due to their experience in accommodating these trips. Breakfast was good and solid. Time of breakfast was flexible, we could have breakfast from really early to really late. Quality of breakfast was good too. Options between toast and eggs or pancakes, supplemented with fresh high quality and delicious fruits. Accomodation is rather basic, but with good A/C, WiFi, swimming pool and lots of green at the property. Price/Quality is simply amazing. Main highlight of the stay however is mr Kadek and his staff as they went above and beyond in arranging things to make our stay more comfortable. Whether it is exchanging money (through third party, but done by himself without commission), specific food choices or taking us to places during off-hours: everything was possible. Put this person in any five star property, and it will deliver a one of a kind experience.

It was absolutely beautiful, the little cottages in an incredible garden around a pool. The garden provided a lot of privacy. Kadek and everyone else were so warm and welcoming and made the stay feel very special.

Lovely rooms amongst beautiful gardens, gorgeous pool and peaceful location. Delicious breakfast and views over the rice fields. What made this stay even better was the cottage manager Kadek who was fantastic, hosting us with such warmth, organising a tailor made tour for us one day and going above and beyond in helping us recover some lost luggage! Definitely recommend staying here!

One of the best place we have stayed in. I booked this room and when we arrived we were greeted with true and genuine hospitality by Kadek and his team. They were all so happy and made us feel like home. There are no words to express how joyful we were because they gave us good advice for anything and always attend to our needs. I would have liked the option to have breakfast earlier than 8:30 AM or been made aware of breakfast hours before.

This place is an oasis away from the hectic center of Ubud but still close enough to get to by taxi for day trips/activities. The rooms are spacious, well equipped with bedroom, bathroom AND kitchen! Your host, Kadek, is one of the kindest, hardworking, most genuine people I’ve met travelling. He will go above and beyond to make his guests happy. The gardens and pool are stunning and only having five rooms giving it a more intimate feel. Highly recommend, you will not regret booking here.

This is the best hotel I stayed in Bali for my 20 days trip ! I canceled future hotels booking which I have and extended with them as much as I could.
