Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Loved location, walking distance to bars, restaurants and plenty of shopping options. Rooms were big and comfortable. Pools were great.

AustraliaI will say this place is a typical "you get what you pay for" scenario, the price is very reasonable. If you're wanting something a bit fancy this probably isn't the place for you. we did have mould in our room pretty extensive around the aircon. I complained and they moved us to another room as quick as they could, given they were fully booked. Although they did put us in another room that still had a bit of mould it was still much better. Not all rooms have mould as we had a late check out and were moved to an even better room for our last 8 hours before we went home just wish we were in that room the whole time. The breakfast is pretty average but if you're an optimist food is food if you're a pessimist Gojek yourself an acai bowl or maybe stay somewhere else 😂
The location is great, it has a lot of great and convenient things like a laundry shop just at the front of the hotel super quick return, bike rental out the front, you can get room service from Ollips which is nice. There's a medical clinic just next to the laundry if needed. And you can walk straight through the Melasti hotel across the road onto the beach. And the best thing of all ... they have a spa clinic in the hotel for all your massage needs so really you don't even need to leave your hotel 😂 The staff are very friendly and helpful ! The hotel was nice and quiet too obviously very dependant on the people staying at the time whether you have a rowdy bunch or not

Nice size rooms, staff were pleasant . I felt safe at all times, and grounds were kept beautifully. Amazing location!

The property has 2 beautiful pools. The rooms are cleaned daily and are quiet. It is an older style building so no lifts only stairs. It was exceptional value for the money.

The area, and the environment around the hotel are good. There are restaurants and bars and it is not far from the the sea. The pool is great and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable even though it it is a little dated.

Would of been nice to have more than one umbrella around the pool as it was so hot so could sit in chairs plus would of been nice to have some shade over part of the pool as both pools was in direct sunlight all day .

South AfricaThe hotel rooms are lacking maintenance. First night after getting into the room the tv did not work and neither did the telephone in the room. Msged on whatsapp the next morning and they sent maintenance to come and fix, this was prompt and it took less than 10mins to do. This could have een checked before i arrived. Dirty walls, mattress that is old and dents in the middle. The sink/basin in the bathroom was essentially hanging by a thread and was hanging skew. The wooden ottoman has wood peeling off the chair. No bottled drinking water is provided at all, and you aren't told this when making a booking. I was told this when i checked in after midnight. And told as an afterthought, I can go across the road. No safe in the room to store valuable items like your passport and electronics. This is an imperative for all travellers, this should be noted as an important piece of information on booking.com as this is a make or break situation for me. I felt very uncomfortable leaving my valuables and passport in my room, knowing cleaning staff would be in and out of my room. I've never needed to check for a safe on my travels because it's always been a part of the requirements. Only a few days in did I realize I had to ask for a towel for the pool. This is not provided or told to you when booking in. There is no info on this in the room itself either.
The hotel is in a good spot, lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Grounds of the hotel are clean and maintained. All staff are very nice when approached with questions or when calling on the room phone. The laundry at the corner is cheap and does a good job.

AustraliaBusloads of locals who stay at this hotel frequently were continuously being extremely noisy with kids running around late at night, yelling, scraping of furniture in the very early and late hours at night. The locals that stay here have absolutely no regard for other travellers. I would not recommend staying here if you want to get sleep
