We like the staff very much, also the delicious, freshly prepared food, the comfortable very clean bungalows and the superb ocean outlook and garden. Location superb. Lots of activities available - fishing, snorkeling and sightseeing or relaxing and watching the fishing boats returning to the beach in the morning.

Not air-conditioned but there was an extra stand up fan and that worked well.

The location was excellent, just sit back and relax and watch the water and the local fishing boats from the day Lounge on our bungalows verandah. The breakfast was included and was great. The food at the restaurant was delicious but also many others close by to try. Staff were so pleasant and helpful, and the gardens lovely. Actually added an extra night to our stay and would have added more if we had the time.

Not a fan of people constantly coming by our bungalow to offer us massage, boat rides, or to tell us of local restaurants that we should eat at. Slightly invasive.

Beach was very nice, pool had a great view, and the restaurant was awesome. The staff was friendly and kind. Our bungalow did not have AC but there were fans to help keep us cool. Great place!

The complimentary breakfast should have options that include meat.and or nasi goreng. I was there for 5 days and wished that there was a mainmeal option on the breakfast menu.

Staff are very friendly and helpful.Bungallows are simple and very clean. The food in the restaurant is very delicious. The veiw is amazing. But the highlight was receiving a coffee tray and flask of hot water delivered to my bungalow each morning at sunrise.

The pool looked a bit green and opaque. The air conditioning was not enough to make the room cool enough. The staff weren’t that much helpful in arranging activities or taxis. Those that they recommended were charging more. The location is too far away from Amed Beach. There is not much around this place.

It’s by the beach, and you can snorkel right in front of your room. The restaurant was better than expected with good selection. The room is large and comfy. The bathroom is large.

There were mosquito nets that didn't quite cover the bed entirely, and actually served no purpose. The only way to protect from mosquitoes was a plug in repellent, if you're okay with the smell. I also found the rooms poorly lit, though it's likely that you're not going to spend too much time in the room. Still, it was hard to just look for things in the room. Also, it was sometimes a little bothersome to have local service providers come up when one is relaxing outside the rooms - offering massages and snorkel trips and restaurant cards. It would be good if this can be regulated.

The best thing about this place is the location. You wake up and see the water and the sky, and you can literally walk into the sea from your room. I lay outside my room listening to the waves from 6am till I felt like getting out onto the sand. I find the budget rooms are in a better location, as they are closer to the sea. The bigger rooms also have their own charm, but not as intimate with the sea. Also, this is a good place to walk in and snorkel on your own, without a boat, etc. You can rent a snorkel (and flippers if required) and explore.

Beautifully located right in front of the ocean. The smallest bungalow is a little small for a couple, so I would recommend booking a bigger one. The food was freshly prepared and everything tasted amazing. Would definitely go back!

Great place to stay if you want to be in a quiet, cozy place. It's a small beach and only Good Karma has bungalows there. Every morning, you'll get hot water for tea or coffee delivered onto your porch. You can hear the waves of the ocean and see the sunrise on the morning.. Amed is a very quiet village. Lots of restaurants are around if you want to eat outside. Staff is very friendly and always helpful.

Fishing boats are leaving from the beach early in the morning and come back at 8 am. Very nice scenery and activity to watch. We loved it. This might wake you up from time to time…. but why not to watch this beautiful activity

I really cannot complain about one thing. Even the mysterious animal stealing my soap was wonderful.

This is what you think of when you think of Bali. The older room I stayed in was exquisitely made of natural materials, bamboo furniture, thatched roof, huge deep porch with a lounging mattress. Huge trees sheltering all. The pool at one end and the little cabana at the other end where I could watch the fishing boats come in were wonderful other touches. The best place I've stayed so far.

Located in its own bay a few kilometres away from Amed centre. Local fishermen keep their boats there and go out to sea early every morning. Here you experience real Bali. It doesn’t feel like a tourist place but has all the facilities. The owner & staff are very hospitable and take excellent care of the visitors. We have been there 3 times over the past few months & will certainly come back again. Good snorkeling & scuba staight off the beach and nearby at the Japanese shipwreck
