There was no air-con but honestly this didn’t bother us as they had provided us with fans and this was enough for us.

All the staff were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The accommodation is in a great location so many yummy restaurants close by. The breakfast provided each morning was great and fresh and it gets delivered to your villa in the mornings. We used the laundry service and I was so surprised at how quickly it was washed, folded and delivered to us (it smelt amazing too!). We used the pool and it was a great temperature it was so quiet most of the time we were the only ones in there. I would be happy to stay here again.

It is down an uneven path so some signage could help. Some AC wouldn't hurt.

Excellent location and exceptional host :-) walking distance to local cafes and yoga/meditation studios. Ubud centre is a short scooter or car ride away, even in heavy traffic. And a swimming pool, private balcony and beautifully maintained garden when you don’t feel like going out.

My week at Gerebig was exactly what I needed to start off my trip to Bali. Ibu Kadek and all of the staff were great. Excellent communications and responsiveness. Staff can help with rides, tickets to Kecak dance, laundry, excursion suggestions, etc. I landed in Bali at 1am and they arranged for a pickup in advance from airport and took me directly to my room. So reassuring after an exhausting flight. . Very warm welcome. Breakfast was a highlight each day deciding how I wanted to start off my day. Many options. The grounds are expansive and lovely. The location in Penestanan is a short walk outside of Ubud Center ( honestly, faster to walk than sit in Ubud traffic). So much quieter and less traffic than in town and I loved the neighborhood and all of the pedestrian walkways throughout to get around where I wanted to go. I only swam in the pool twice but the setting was also so lovely. The rates for the week were very reasonable. I have no complaints I did not have AC, but some rooms have it. I didn't need it. . Stay at Gerebig for a warm and friendly, familial introduction to Ubud.

No AC (it was not a problem for me but the days were not very hot). I did not test the wifi. The bathroom is a bit old but it didn’t bother me.

Very nice and quiet villa. You enter through the main road but you can’t hear the traffic once in the property. The owner is very nice and will go above and beyond to make sure you are okay and happy with your stay. I loved the room as it was very private, with no neighbours so I could do as I pleased. Kitchen next to the room available too. The room is quite basic and has no AC (although fan is available and great) but it didn’t bother me. The garden, the nature, the privacy, the fact that you can walk to nice cafes, the service and the very nice long swimming pool was more than enough to make my stay very pleasant. I would stay there again next time.

It was a humid period so hard to sleep without aircon. Kadek is organising aircon in several rooms very soon.

Delightful staff, family run. Spacious clean room. Breakfast on our large balcony. Beautiful gardens. Kadek is very welcoming to her home. Great location next to Alchemy Yoga in Penestanan. Short walk the other way to Champuan. So many restaurants to choose from in all directions.

The lack of air conditioning was an issue this time, because Penestanan was unusually hot and humid. In the cooler times of the year, it would probably not be a problem

The gardens are beautiful, and the breakfasts were generous. Host Kadek (and family) are exceptionally kind and accommodating. The location is great- close to Alchemy and Intuitive Flow yoga studios and lots of great cafes

Swimming pool a good size and the bungalow was very private with its own garden. Great breakfast, generous portions, especially the fruit plate. Particularly liked the spicy rice porridge! Coffee was really tasty. Our host Kadek was charming, cheerful and helpful!

A great place for our family and we felt very welcome and at home. It is a little way to walk to the centre but as it turned out it was lovely to be able to escape from the noise into this little oasis. Great swimming pool and a beautiful garden. It has good places to eat nearby and a great breakfast.
