Breakfast is not exceptional but it’s still nice to have breakfast, the water in the bathroom had trouble evacuating so it was always wet and very slippery. A bit far from restaurants or marts so you must have a motorbike

Great place in the mountains, really nice pool and nice bungalow, really really kind people ! Everything is at a 20min ride so really central, the pool is the best we’ve had, plan to just chill there for a day it’s so worth it.

We learned that being in the centre of the island without a scooter made it expensive to travel. The omelette for breakfast was actually a fried egg on a gas fired piece of toast. I believe that our bed was not remade from the last guests. Initially I thought it was just cheap sheets but we discovered crushed chips/crisps under the sheet. We left after 1 night and explained why to the lady. Not sure how this place has achieved such a high rating. Really felt for the teenage girl who was assisting her parents.

Everything was dirty and not there was no maintenance on the room, toilet or pool. Shower was not working, bed was dirty and the pool full of bugs, don’t go there.

Nothing, bad location and worse cleaning, we had to book another place for that nights.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at DnR Lumbung Garden on Nusa Penida, and it exceeded all expectations. The breakfast was a delightful start to each day, offering a variety of delicious options. The dinners were a highlight, with freshly cooked meals. The room was not only perfectly clean but also incredibly cozy, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to returning for another holiday at this charming bungalow hotel.

Bathroom was terrible, didn’t even have a shower. Someone came into my room while I was in the bathroom which made me feel on edge the whole time we were there. We rented a bike from hotel which broke down so we had to get a taxi back to hotel and they didn’t even offer to give us the money for it (even though it was their fault they gave us a dodgy scooter). Breakfast was awful. Really bad location (miles away from beaches, restaurants and any tourist areas). Would not come back.

Friendly staff (however speak very little English), the pool area was nice.

The swimming pool was murky, we couldn’t see the bottom of it so we didn’t swim. There was a small gap in between our room in the wooden cabin and the bathroom and birds pooped through it, not nice to have a shower there. The scooters we rented were in awful condition, no break working, the dashboard screen was shattered. The helmets were practically useless, the clasp was missing… and another was infested with ants. One host told us one price and another host gave us a higher price, which resulted in an argument.

There was a nice food service, for breakfast and dinner, and drinks too, it was quiet at night. Good air conditioning, chilled atmosphere.

If the staff will be working with foreign people they should have a minimum of English. Every enquirer we did was with no answer (even the more easy questions). We left some water bottles or other drinks on the fridge and the next day were not there. The hot water (or even the water) was not always working.

It was a quite place and the bed was really comfortable.

Weak and unreliable wifi and no cellphone reception, but I think it's a standard on Nusa Penida.

Absolutely lovely family. We did not want to leave. Delicious breakfast. Especially the sandwiches. Good, central location giving you the opportunity to visit different beaches on the island. Close to the harbour. Peace and quiet. Very hot water with good pressure. Nice pool area and plenty of space to relax. Water refill available.

the staff were exceptionally friendly to me . the location is breathtaking and the grounds are nothing short of paradise . I watched some football with the owners and they were very happy to answer all my curious questions . the facilities , including air con is great in the rooms. The air condition in our room didn’t work so well, it was too warm inside especially with the way the room was built. The toilet in our room has very weak flush. In the evening you can hear the gecko making noises everywhere, that’s fine but if you are a light sleeper, it could be a problem. We didn’t like the breakfast served. It was either too salty and oily or the fruits were seemingly not fresh and dirty. We weren’t asked how we liked the food at all. There is a pool in the property but we didn’t even swim and went to swim at a pool in other restaurant/hotel bar because the pool in this hotel looked dirty and unclean. At the end we were asked to give good reviews to them, but we think that would be a disservice to others.
