The bathroom was in dire need of renovation, the plumbing needing some serious attention. Wifi is only available in the restaurant area, not across the rooms.

The twin room is nice, the view is amazing, breakfast is good especially with the beautiful view ......oh yaaaa unfortunately there is no mirror in the room and the wifi can't reach the room and yeah , the AC remote is gone 😁 at night as tropical boy i felt lil cold haha overall is okay, last but not least mba fitri is incredibly nice, she's so helpful, humble and friendly , I don't mind going back , keep it up mba fitri and team !!!

This has nothing to do with the property, but very close to the local mosque, so be prepared to be woken up at night (even with earplugs)

Clean rooms, very friendly and helpful family running the place. Simple but delicious breakfast with an amazing view from the resto. Great we could hire scooters from the property too.

AC and TV remote were missing we couldn't watch TV or adjust the room temperature, the way from main road to the hotel is kinda steep and will be challenging for people with motorcycle and not good at controlling it

Eventhough rustic can be a good idea to save the planet by recycle things and create a room for creativity, function, sanity, and durability has to be consider first. The cleanliness and the maintenance of the stay is consider not good. Some of the property didn’t last long until I saw some termite on the wall, I can barely seen some of the furniture accessory has out of place. Also since it has a feel of nature, I think there were a gecko litter around the bathroom, I saw a hole on the airvent though. But overall it is good for me :)

Best View with BEST VALUE. If anyone wants to feel beach-forest feels, this is the place!!! The Interior is pretty much nature-rustic with a touch of country style. The view is really a best spot to view the harbor from distance. Moreover, you can barely see this place since you’re arrive from the harbor.

There is no WiFi in the rooms. There is some WiFi in the restaurant up the hill, but it did not work very well. The restaurant is not a restaurant. They serve a limited breakfast in the morning. After that it’s just an empty terrace. There is no food and drinks on the premises. You have to constantly go out to town for food and to arrange for things. This is a place where you go to sleep, not a place to hang out or have a chill day.

The room was nice. It had two beds and a private bathroom.

The owners were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We liked the room and the island, the breakfast area had an astonishing view as well. The bed was clean and there were no stains. We definitely recommend this place!

We booked 2 rooms with terrace next to each other. Both were bad but the one me and my wife stayed in was worse. Lots of termites,ants and other creepy crawlers. My wife picked up her shoes one day and they were full with thousands of stinging ants. Also the door would swell up every morning because of the moisture and would not close. The mosquito netting was completely destroyed so that was pointless. The shower was hanging loose. There is no hot water and in the room no Internet although they claim that there is. Also the room was never cleaned in 3 days, there is no asian bidet but the toilet bin was never changed. You had to ask for toilet paper and water (wich they did provide the first day). We payed around 28 euro a night and that is just insane. I would never pay again for this place but no hot water, no wifi, no cleaning, very old. The price is way too high. Because of Idul Fitri holidays everything else was full (we needed 2 rooms) so we were forced to stay. I did speak with the owner and she tried to come up with a solution. But when we agreed on something, and she already gave us a partial refund through the staff, she later called me and said she wanted half back. But a deal is a deal in my opinion. This is a rundown place and I get the impression that they believe backpackers or other travelers are just stupid and they just pay because it will feel like an adventure on a beautiful island. But we traveled for month now and stayed in cheap places also in Thailand and those were much better for half the price. Really the one thing that made our trip to beautiful Karimunjawa disappointing..

Not a dislike but the property is basic so bare this in mind when booking.

Amazing, accommodating hosts with friendly and warm welcoming during our stay. We had one of the more basic rooms but slept very well. Devi would clean the room upon request and made lovely breakfast every morning. The views at the top of the restaurant are breathtaking. I could not highly recommend cocohuts enough. The facilities are basic however very liveable and safe.

I wondered why this was the accommodation where we had the best time during our 2 months in Indonesia. We stayed in nicer hotels with more extras and fixed wifi. But the care, the heartfelt selflessness, the caring, we didn't feel anywhere else. The room is spacious, clean. The breakfast is generous. We cannot thank the owners, Devi and Fiti, enough for their hospitality. If we come to Karimunjawa again, we will only stay here.

When I arrived I asked if there was room upstairs because they should me the room downstairs and I didn't like it And they should a room upstairs which I stayed in when I checked out they wanted to charge more money even though they didn't let me know the price of the room upstairs is different and they insisted I should be that was rude because they have to let me know that the prices where different when they should it to me from the start. When I stayed the rooms where empty it wasn't fully booked The extra charge they wanted was 350k Rubiah for 2 nights! Even though I already paid 550 for the 2 nights

No hot water available, but it’s really common for the island. Unfortunately, there is a mosque really close to the hotel and they start praying at 4:30am.

Breakfast was nice and served on a beautiful terrace. Room was clean and we enjoyed the amazing view.
