Staff friendly and helpful. Apartments clean and good size. Restaurant food and breakfast delicious. Minor issues dealt with efficiently. Beautiful pool and grounds with beachfront for walks. Day spa good.

Stayed in Residence 16, had our own pool! Apartment was massive, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen with fridge and cooking facilities. Beds really comfortable, housekeeping done every day.

The 'private' pool is at the front of the villa shielded by a thin strip of foliage so not so private rather exclusively for your use. There were small things that were easily fixable that really let them down - drawers with no handles - the handle was in the drawer. One of the drawer fronts was not attached and fell off constantly revealing a dirty gecko poop filled drawer, easily fixable! Our bedroom was inundated with flies and we had to open the outside door and let them out regularly. Our bedroom loo dripped contantly. When we arrived 2 of the internal/external doors and a window were not locked. Our bed was covered in some grainy material we had to sweep off and the floor needed a sweep so clearly not checked well the day of our check in, these were small things that were all easily fixable but knocked the review down. The rooms/villas in the new part looked very modern in comparison.

When I read the reviews I was confused how some were saying how new everything was and some saying how worn and dated - having stayed I now know this is due to the resort having two parts - a much newer one and the original. We stayed in a 2 bed villa residence in the original part. The staff were fantastic - every one encountered was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our villa was huge with 3 bathrooms, nice hot shower, fully equipped kitchen, massive fridge, complimentary water gallon. The bed was comfy (although the shiny comforter was a bit odd) The restaurant was very nice and well priced for a resort restaurant. There are two shared pools and a lovely bit of frontage onto the black sand beach and views over the water to Nusa Penida, Ceningan and Lembongan. We took our small dog and she was welcomed and had plenty of space to roam. We were there for Nyepi so cannot comment of wifi speed.

Everything. Fab huge 2 bedroom villa with our own pool. The staff are suoer friendly and helpful. The food at the resto is divine. Spa treatments are great and well priced. Our dog was welcomed with open arms. The owner is really helpful and friendly. Walking distance to shops and bars etc and beachfront. It's a must stay if your planning a holiday in Candidasa.

The breakfast choice was very good. The location was close to outside restaurants. The gardens were very nicely kept. The scenery from the restaurant was nice while enjoying my food. The staff were very friendly. Having my own pool.

Private pool was next to a tree - I understand that a tree can create a mess out of a pool and it’s a challenge to keep it clean. Nevertheless the pool was unusable for us since it was literally covered in leaves and sticks and wasn’t cleaned during our stay eighter.

Lovely location with restaurant and pool looking out onto the beach and spacious apartment surrounded by well kept gardens. Staff very friendly and attentive with bonus of free and filling breakfast. Daily specials at the restaurant a welcome touch and food in general was delicious. Short 15 minute drive to wonderful white sand beach with fantastic snorkelling.

the cheap quality of bed, it was so hard and we can feel the per of the bed. no proper blanket, and mold in the pool. you clearly see green mold in the pool and we found big stone crab inside the pool.

breakfast was good, friendly staff. The location was perfect, walk distance to Candidasa main area and many restaurant nearby. we stay in the 2br villa and it was quiet and lovely space.

The size and cleanliness of our rooms, the special treatment from the staff and their attention to detail. The owner has trained his staff well, they are happy, thoughtful and competent. The breakfast, by far the best we have had in any other resort/villa. Dinner was exceptional too!!

Absolutely couldn't speak more highly of Bayshore Residence. We had a fantastic 5 nights in Candidasa. Resort was beautiful. Loved the ambience in the evening. The owner Brad was more than helpful, and so lovely. Restaurant food and service is 10 out of 10, we will be back.

Great resort. Staff were exceptional. Robby in the restaurant was wonderful and the owner gave great recommendations for day trips and good places to eat. Easy walk into the middle of Candidasa. Villa was huge, beds comfy, good lounge and loved our own pool. Breakfast was very good, I enjoyed the range and the daily specials were delicious. Main pool and seating area was gorgeous and filled with frangipani trees. Do yourself a favor and visit their B Spa, Made does a great massage. Can’t wait to visit again.
