Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PhilippinesJust one thing, the transportation.
Bali Jungle Camping is one for the books. It is uniquely design to suit the ambiance of the hotel’s location. You are in the middle of the jungle that all you can hear is the sound of cicadas, birds, and other animals. You got to enjoy the hammock over looking the cliff right below you and with trees and blue skies above. I suggest, if you plan to stay there for quite some time, you need to bring books of your favorite author that for sure you will enjoy. You can order food at the comfort of your dome. The staff are so warm, helpful, and accommodating especially Wayan, Kade, Adi, and Parama. I will definitely come back to Bali and stay here again but I won’t be doing any sight seeing since the view itself is more than the tour you can avail in Bali and I will rent a motorbike if you want an access to the nearest convenient stores.

United StatesPoor signage from road to check in location. Better instructions on reaching staff for assistance with luggage from road to check in on sign on the road would have been very helpful. Information on accessing nearby village would also have been helpful.
Food and scenery were lovely. Cabin was comfortable. Service was good. Staff were friendly.

HungaryGrab does not come here. There were a lot of flies during our stay but staff said it’s temporary because of a chicken farm nearby.
The dome looked exactly like on the photos, it was very unique sleeping in the jungle. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the food at the restaurant was delicious. The northwest side of Bali is accessible by car within 1-2 hours, beautiful waterfalls and temples to visit.

Turkeyi payed for the transportation as much as the accomodation. the location being apart from centers make it hard to access. but for theğ jungle experience it is normal to be far from city.
being in wild, pure, peaceful nature. friendly stuff. enjoying the hammock. walk to the woods(outside picture is in a few hundreds meter away distance from the hotel)

IraqExtremely far from anywhere with urban life, took a grab from Ubud to the jungle costed around 400k IDR, on the way back to Ubud no Grab cars were available so I had to use the facility Cab to drive us and cost 600k which is really expensive compared to transportation inside Bali

GermanyDuring the night the dogs barked quite often and it was not easy to sleep (as well as many chickens making noise in the early morning). The area itself is quite isolated and far from some attractions.
The atmosphere and the environment were super nice, and relaxing. A true jungle experience! Also the staff is super friendly and helpful, we enjoyed the cooking classes and the Balinese massage.

United StatesThe rooms are quite small by design, also the blankets and bedsheets were damp due to the location.
Cozy, private rooms in the heart of the jungle. The bed was very comfortable and staff friendly and accommodating. The hammock attached to the platform provides a relaxing, scenic view.

GermanyThe way there was a bit awkward, even our local driver had to ask where to find the exact location. But from the parking area, they do offer assistance.
We stayed two nights, and it was a unique experience. It's fare away from touristy Bali and the perfect place to immerse in nature. The camping area is beautiful, and you can expect more luxury camping compared to normal tents. The ambience at night was special, staff is very helpful and friendly and you will get everything you need to enjoy your stay to the fullest.

United KingdomLots of flies around the kitchen and lobby and also in the cabin, I often ate with fly net around the bed within my little safety net… some cultures are used to this and not a problem we are just not used to it being English lol Also I originally booked the geo-dome… this is not for the faint hearted as the door does not seal there’s quite large gap top and bottom of door (different to domes Ive stayed in uk where they fully seal like a tent) and also small gaps between floorboards. It was too open to letting bugs in for me to sleep in there (a net around the bed would have been better I’m sure they can hang one in there) and they did not hesitate to change room immediately for me, honestly the service and staff were amazing! If that wouldn’t have bothered you then the geo dome looked amazing… for me it was too open to wildlife to come in especially if the lights were on at night.
The staff were exceptional service and the surrounding were just beautiful, truly in nature and so calm and relaxing! I stayed in a wooden cabin and the veranda and views from the big glass windows were lovely! I stayed here solo and it was awesome and tranquil! Would defo stay again…

SingaporeWater pressure was kind of weak in the shower. Adequate toilet facility. There's spiders and ants everywhere. Not a complaint but a heads-up to potential travelers. We are co-living in their natural habitat and we got to accept their presence.
It's my first accommodation upon arriving in Bali. What a stunning amazing experience it was. Deep in the forest, the night temperature was chilly and just right for me. There was no light pollution so you can just lay down on the rope hammock and enjoy the stargazing. It was really therapeutic as there was nothing but insect noises, bird chirps, dog barks deep into the night as i went to bed.

United KingdomFor final night of our stay we moved to Deluxe Room and this was not as good as the Dome. It was not that clean and the ambience of Jungle was not fully there - maybe because of noisy neighbours that particular night. Toilet in Deluxe room is there as soon as you open front door, a bit unpractical. Food menu at the restaurant is not translated into English correctly and is quite limited, somewhat understandably. All in all, these are minor issues for otherwise a good time at Bali Jungle Camping!
The location was great. It had a great feeling of camping, especially in the dome. You could feel the nature around. Staff were very helpful. The manager Waya was always at hand to listen to our requests and very polite handling them. For 2 days we hired on-camp driver (Adi) who was very helpful getting around Munduk and Lovina regions, ensuring we have a good time over there. Owner (Madi) and his wife could be seen on camp and were ever so polite to drive us to Ubud, our next destination - it was a pleasant drive with them. Very kind people overall looking after our stay.

NetherlandsHumidity is very high, so sheets sometimes were wet inside the bubble. Location is good for isolating yourself, but grab and other services don’t work here. Also, personally I don’t like dogs to be in the hotel, so it was a minus for me.

United KingdomThe bathroom had a metal roof and it rained when we stayed so we were kept awake all night to constant banging of rainfall. They should consider a different roof covering to distract this constant noise.

Czech RepublicAt the moment of our visit there was a construction in the property going on and all the materials are being transported in some seriously noisy motorcycles, this noise lasts for several hours of the day which completely ruins the peace and quiet of the place. Banquets for the hammock are stained and are wearing out.
The views from the room are very nice, the staff is friendly, in general we enjoyed our stay there, they clean the room every day.

NetherlandsWhat I find important is food and hygiene. It's simple and fine. Because I know I'm staying in a jungle, I don't expect anything. That's why I'm not disappointed. Some people have an expectation of what is depicted on Instagram, but it is a jungle experience. What did you expect? Mega luxury for a small price? Complaining about hot water, ants, spiders or other types of insects. Then you shouldn't sleep in a jungle campsite. Take a 5 star hotel.
I like the peace and quiet there. Amazing view from my dome. Beautiful surroundings. I booked the trekking tour, the dogs from Bali Jungle Camping also came along. It was a nice experience especially with the dogs. Did a last minute scooter tour. That was just possible. They are so flexible and cooperative. Very pleasant. Also had a wonderful massage. Recommended if you want to relax. I had a nice and pleasant stay. Until next time.
