Very uneven standard of the rooms. Family villa was beautiful but superior room for 2 wasn’t cozy, very basic, bathroom needs renovation.

Stairs to upstairs were a bit steep and not ideal with young kids but wouldn't put us off staying again

Awesome wee villa to ourselves for the family room. Very comfortable beds and everything was nice and clean. Neat wee outdoor kitchen for the room with a 20l water which meant you could fill up your drink bottles rather than constantly buying waterbottles. Great location with 4 or 5 options to eat within a couple of minutes walk. Character building walk up the scooter track past monkey forest to the center of ubud

No mirror in room except the wall mirror in the bathroom. The stairs leading to the 2nd bedroom is steep and steps are fairly high…not appropriate for seniors.

The location is good. ..though not easy to find. Turn into a small lane just before Black Sheep Restaurant. Staff are very nice and helpful. Hotel has 24 hrs laundry service at very reasonable price.

There was a an initial mix up with the airport taxi. Booking.com sends a free one with booking but they also for some reason sent a driver. They did want me to pay for the additional driver sent which was unfortunate. It was an honest mix up though and everyone was very pleasant every step of the way.

The location is excellent. Near the Monkey Forest and just off of the main road so it is quiet. Property is even further set back so it is very quiet and peaceful.

Like all places …upkeep is very important in the accommodation game ….. my only suggestion ….. would be ….. pool area bathroom - i believe guests would appreciate you looking at replacing the very tired toilet seat .

Garden view was delightful !!!!… set in a very quiet street in Nuhn Kuning …. Away from the chaos of down town Ubud . Located in jalon bjog( behind monkey Forrest) a 1o minute easy walk to the centre of the main streets of Ubud- should you wish to explore. Our downstairs room was generous in size for 2 with a spacious well maintained bathroom and delightful front veranda, set in beautiful quiet gardens …..with all the benefits of air conditioning - that was definitely appreciated. The pool was very well maintained And a welcome treat to enjoy after a day of exploring. Very tasty simple Breakfast was available in the morning in open air Veranda at main reception Staff were very friendly and always happy to assist with any queries . This is definitely a place I would recommend to friends who enjoy staying somewhere authentic, with a local feel and enjoy simpatico 🙏 I would very happily stay there again .

We didn’t like the breakfast - eggs and pancakes very raw :) , coffee very bad so it is better to book only the rooms

I think a stock take is needed and replace any lumpy pillows, pillow cases and sheets that have marks on them, and any towels that have holes in them... they are all clean but it doesn't look good to the customer... maybe a fridge in the room too 🙂

Nice welcome drink, great location and is handy for the rat run along the monkey forest perimeter to get to the main road, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful garden surroundings

The room could be updated with some simple steps. For example, the mosquito net, which is a great addition, could be fixed better so there are no holes. More plugs would be nice. Also, the sink and shower in the toilet are quite old. Overall, there are minor things that can be improved.

Nice friendly people at the reception. They cleaned well the room each day. The bed was comfortable. The pool was a very nice addition and the hotel has a good location near Monkey forest, it takes about 20 min to walk to the city centre. It was a nice stay :)

Despite its great location and reasonable price, the overall experience at Garden View Villa is marred by cleanliness and maintenance issues. If it weren't for the location and my advance booking, I would have considered other options in the area, even at a bit higher cost.

They need a thorough cleaning of the rooms. And we hope that when we request for a room downstairs because of the age of our guests, they should seriously take that into account. Offer different set of meals for breakfast please :)

The staff and the location. Manager Agung and his staff did their best to meet all the "demands" of our group - for which I am very grateful. (I am with the elderly including my family. (12 adults, 1 infant for 6 rooms). We even have take away breakfast because we need to leave at 4 am for our flight.

The bathroom works ok but I think it needs to be upgraded, it takes a while to get hot water for shower.
