The pillows were disgusting. Covered in old stains and black mould, inside clean covers. I requested and was given a new pillow. The day after I arrived, a small demolition and building project began.

The bathroom is very basic and the extra bed we asked for was a mattress on the floor.

I was lucky to be able to park my car as its pretty limited there for parking. The walk in was quite far but that was an adventure and all flat, so no problem. The rooms are all close , side by side, but it was quiet enough. The location is good for walking to restaurants and shops etc.

The hygiene of the room could be further improved.

The location is quite strategic, so close to the main street of Ubud, such as Goutama Street and any interesting spots in Ubud. It's highly recommended if you want to stroll around Ubud. The room is good and big enough, there is a TV, and the bathroom is spacious. The parking lot is quite small. Overall, the stay is good enough.

However, there were a couple of drawbacks: - The shower drain was blocked, causing water to overflow and nearly seep into the room. -Another disappointing aspect was the refusal to allow the use of the toilet after checking out. It's understandable to have policies in place, but a bit of flexibility in this situation would have been appreciated. - I also encountered an issue with the door lock being broken during my stay at Ayu Bungalow. This meant I couldn't securely close my room and had to leave it unlocked with all my belongings inside, causing me significant insecurity.

My stay at Ayu Bungalow had its ups and downs. On the positive side, the location couldn't be better – right in the heart of Ubud. The room was comfortable and offered great value for the price.

Excellent location right on Jalan Hanoman, yet away from the noise of the traffic/main road. Very peaceful and serene and the lush garden keeps the area cool. Friendly and accommodating staff.

Breakfeast was a let down, coffee not great and no options of milk. The options did not match what was on the menu for example I ordered toast and got a banana toastie. Options were not filling enough.

No on site resturant and had to walk past multiple hotels with bags before getting to hotel. But there is lots of restaurants near to the location so it's not so bad.

The bungalow is in a complex, which contains varuous homestay, hotels with different names, so it's quite confusing. The asmostphere is quite natural so mosquitos are also friends 😂
