Beautiful and clean cottage with sea view. In the nature and great for relaxing. Very clean and great value for money. The staff were amazing! Always there to help and they cleaned the room frequently, making you feel at home and at ease. Restaurant also delicious! We loved our stay <3

Our recent stay at Atuh Forest Cottage on Nusa Penida island was nothing short of magical. One of my best stay in whole Indonesia! Amazing food cooked in Coconut Oil. Host was super friendly and arranged taxi for us from Harbour which was decently priced. Coming to room, It came with an amazing ocean view. Property is surrounded by greenery which gave a very pleasant vibe. Hands down book this cottage without any doubt and you wont regret it!

What an incredible place!! we had the most amazing room with an incredible view of the sea. The host is incredibly kind and very helpful!! We stayed only for one night and we really wanted to stay more (sadly it was fully booked). It is really well located, as it is a 5 minutes bike ride to diamond beach (which was gorgeous!!). And the food, was AMAZING - eat there everyday, every night if you can, it is so so worth it!

Wonderful, friendly hosts- easy to chat to, leant is a moped, cooked us a delicious dinner and breakfast (for great value). Grounds were beautiful and well maintained, views are stunning. Room was comfortable, clean and cool. Loved the outdoor shower/bathroom, made use of the deck out front. Great location for exploring Diamond/Atuh beach. We much preferred this side of the island

The place was very nice, away from everything else and with a lovely garden. The location was good, just a few kilometres from the beach, and the facilities were all good. Finally, the people who ran it were very nice and friendly, and the food delicious.

It was a lovely retreat into the mountains! Definitely a great place to stay on the east side. The views were beautiful and the room was nice. The owner and his family were very nice and they had adorable puppies on the property. The food was good and they were so kind to set out honeymoon decorations for me and my husband.

my only advice is to have a bike to be able to visit the island otherwise nothing negative to say

Best place I've stayed in Bali. This is an oasis of paradise. The owner is so friendly and helpfup, gave me a ride on his bike to the beach and organised taxis for me. His wife is lovely and an incredible chef. I highly recommend this place. I never slept so peacefully.

Peaceful cottage run by a beautiful family in the middle of nature, with ocean view, 20 minutes walk to the dreamy Atuh beach. The restaurant is delicious, we tried almost everything on the menu and absolutely recommend it! We will definitely go back!!!!

Seriously a 10. What a beautiful special space! Gede thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with my Family!! Delicious home made locally sourced food is fully available onsite and cooked to order! The stillness of the island is complimented by this space. The water in the distance yet immersed in the natural surrounding of the jungle is magical! Gede and his Family are joyful and very very accommodating. Thank you for celebrating my daughter's birthday. Thank you for the smiles and genuine care.

There was nothing I didn’t like. When you book a place like this, if you’re expecting some sort of five star resort, you’re seriously deluded. This is a humble, peaceful, simple setting and that’s what I wanted, and that’s what I paid for.

Excellent property Gede the owner and his lovely wife manages the place. There are only 4 cottages so you get personalised service. Gede’s wife is also a very good cook. Fantastic place.

Beautiful place to stay! The view is stunning, it doesn’t look real. Wonderful kind hosts - Gede took me on his scooter down to Atuh beach which is one of the most stunning beaches I’ve ever seen and next to Diamond beach too (after a steep climb). His wife cooks delicious food so although it’s remote it doesn’t matter because you have everything you need. Rooms are comfy and clean. If you are looking to get away from the busier tourist side then this is perfect for a peaceful rural escape with the best scenery and views.
