The cleaning of the bathroom and the tables of the breakfast were not that good. The towels could be clean better.

The surrounding area doesn’t match the feel of the hotel. Wouldn’t suggest the ‘smokers room’ for light smokers. Smells like a smoking area in an airport.

Very beautiful main floor woth restaurant & pool. Rooms are nice but unfortunately without a window or natural light. Good for our stay for 1 night before leaving to Yogyakarta.

The swimming pool is a bit exposed and the rooms had no windows, so it was a little dark.

Excellent location right by the tourist sites. The hotel was very clean too. I'd say this is an excellent place to stay if you want to explore Jakarta a bit.

The noise of the doors when they were closing

During our trip in Indonesia we stayed at Ashley Tanah Abang Hotel twice. Once when we arrived in Jakarta prior to our roundtrip and then at the end prior to leaving Indonesia. Both times we made a great experience with the hotel. The location is prime. It is close to many places tourists would like to see in Jakarta. Also for business people it is a great place since it is close to the center where lots of international companies are located. What my family loved most was the streetfood around the hotel. I liked the proximity to the Grand Indonesia Mall. You can easily pick a taxi in front of the hotel and if you want to experience something special, there are lots of rikshaws right next to the hotel parking entrance. The staff at the reception is very professional and does a great job. At various times during the day and night I passed by at the reception and there was always someone to talk to. The rooms are spacious, at least the ones we have received during this trip. The bathrooms are spacious too and equipped with the most important things. During our first stay we were lucky and had booked a family room. The room was very spacious as you can see on my pictures. The second stay we had two double bed rooms and also this was great. The only negative impression was the noise when the doors close. I guess this could be solved easily. Especially during our first stay there was a party downstairs and some guests on our floor were loud and walked in and out between their rooms and each time their doors slammed, not by purpose but because the slam if you do not close the door slowly. The restaurant was great, we had a couple of times breakfast and I also tried a dinner. The food is good and tasty. The pool in the centre of the hotel is great, no long walking distance, however the water was quite cold. In total everything was great and we had a pleasant time in this hotel.

Very thin walls you can hear everything. Location is basically a slum, don't go outside without a taxi. I'm not sure if there are better neighborhoods in Jakarta though.

The hotel’s location is very close to shopping places like Tanah abang, thamrin city, plaza indonesia & grand indonesia mall. The whole area inside hotel smells good. The breakfast & lunch buffet was really good. Our room was very spacious and very comfy. You can also watch netflix in the room.
