“This is a simple, stylish hotel with modernist inflections, functional, affordable, and yet very cool, with its mix of naturally-finished wood paneling and cement. The room is reasonably-sized, has a desk to write on, lots of cupboard space, a designed bathroom, and has high ceilings. The electrical, wifi, and AC are all great. It is fairly private - depending on the other guests - although the room I had faces a loud street. That same street is probably Banda Aceh's best street for cafes and restaurants, and is absolutely worth exploring.”
