Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

DenmarkI requested a double bed, but they gave me two single beds. The bed and furniture blocked all the power charging points, and despite staying for three nights, no towels were changed. There was also a bad smell in the toilet.
The location was really good, close to tram and metro stations with lots of restaurants nearby. The Wi-Fi connection was great, and the room and toilet were spacious.

MexicoWhen we arrived they assigned us an already occupied room. In the reassigned room there were not enough electrical contacts and some of them were poorly fixed. After a week I still scratch my body of what I think are insect bites. Not for the weak and faint.

Germany1. Hotel does not serve water… water is basic need management must understand they can charge to guest but PLEASE PROVIDE WATER!!(PERIOD) 2. If you woke up early in the morning or late in night and need coffee they do not serve/sale it. Either you have to wait till breakfast starts or get it from bakeries just 100 metres… again management charge to customer but get your basics right!! 3. Cleaning or changing of bed sheets doesn’t happen daily in hotel … very unhappy about this policy please change it. 4. Some cleaning staff is so bad I had to ask for bath towel in quantity of 3 for 3 members … please teach staff that “number of people is equal to bath towels number “ , I do got it once asked at reception as reception members are quite logical but do we have to ask basic stuffs ?? Then one time staff forgot napkins to give to room same old illogical stuff which I didn’t like🙁 5. I had done booking in advance and demanded queen size bed but was not available or given .. they had joined 2 beds and gave a filler bed patch in between it was so bad and unclean even yellow on some edge … they have to seriously work on their cleaning any hygiene
This Hotel has really good location, rooms are quite spacious… I met owner as well for few queries all the reception members are super friendly and nice. The breakfast was decent and we enjoyed it a lot.

RomaniaThere is no AC, although the pictures show AC present in the rooms, the shower cabin was leaking so the bathroom was flooded, it also smelled like sewage. We had a problem with the fact that nobody provided us with extra toilet paper, the rooms had no socket near the side of the bed, so one of the lamps wasn’t working.
The property is easy to reach by car or by public transportation, the location is perfect, it has access to parking for a fair price, it is close to bus and tram stations so the city centre ia fairly accessible, the breakfast is reasonable.
