Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Staff, vibes, rooms and activities were 10/10. Everyday there’s 3 activities (ruins bars, clubbing, etc) the hostel organises which is a great way to meet people and explore the city. Rooms had curtains and A/C, facilities were clean and best of all staff were friendly (Mauro, Anika, Fluke, Emily)

AustraliaOne of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had. As a solo traveller, often the hostel you stay at plays a huge role in your experience of the city. My experience at Onefam is part of the reason Budapest was my favourite city I have travelled to. A major highlight was the staff who were incredibly friendly and inclusive, they made huge efforts to organise social activities, which revolved around local areas as opposed to more touristy ones, and facilitate friendships between hostel guests. In particular a huge shout out to Fluke, Vaish, and Victoria who made my experience unforgettable ❤️❤️

PolandThat was one of my best experience with hostels! I was only for a 4 nights but i've meet so many people around the world and i fel like at home! Staff was so friendly - especially Cami! She helped me a lot with everything starts from recommendations what to see, eat ends with sending my postcards after i left hostel! Thans a lot Cami! I liked the curtains in each bed. Very social hostel, made quite a few friends here. They make an effort to do pub crawls and games, but they also have a quieter area if you don't want loud music. They have board games and entertainment. Location was very good and overall was a clean hostel.

Everything was great! Location, cleanliness, staff - and the price to quality ratio was excellent. Even though it’s a party hostel I could easily sleep well. The free coffee and matcha is just a huge bonus! I’m very grateful that I was able to check in as early as 11 AM (!) because there were some beds avaliable in rooms.

Hostel location is great, just few min walking distance from main attractions or bus/metro stations which takes you further away. I took metro M3 from Nepliget to Deak Ferenc Ter ( 6 stops) which costs 1.20e and is located 5 min walking from the hostel and blue bus 100E from Deak Ferenc Ter to the airport for 6e ( 30 min depends on traffic) and you can pay both by card. Hostel crew was AMAZING and very helpful in every way 😊 There is a Bar on site open from 7 to 11 pm, they organize games/ boat party/ night out/ site seeing and picnic for all guest who wants to join and even a WhatsApp group to be up to date with whatever is going on every day. Kitchen and fridge available to cook or store, as well as free tea/coffee station, hairdryer, iron, towel and lock. Overall clean, friendly and safe... its a Perfect place for solo travelers who - if desired - wont feel lonely 😊

Best hostel I've been to hands down. Social, organizes drinking games and events to bars/nightclubs every night. Has a bar downstairs at the entrance so convinent place for people to congregate. The sleeping area is also separate enough from the bar such that any commotion there does not disturb people in the rooms trying to sleep. The rooms and facilities are all modern and new.

JapanNoisy a little: They have some party events in bar space every night. If you like going to the bed early, it may prevent you from falling into sleep.
Bank beds room: Well cleaned. Though 8 beds are inside, each has curtain, enough space to lay on, and cloak with lock. I also prefer it has no washroom inside of bed room. Staff: They are so kind and open to every visitor. Shower space: I prefer shower rooms are separates from toilet space by a wall.

This place has all the facilities and very much suitable for people who want to party and socialise. Juancho treats everyone very well, conducts games, greets everyone with his warm smile, he would not feel you left out, when you are struggling to socialise. Mauro is incredible and very kind. He had helped me a lot as im new to this place and he did not get irritated even once. This guy is unbelievable, wish i had a brother like him. Guiseppe is very kind, smiling and does his job right on and so as cami!! Overall i loved this place and the guys made me feel like im home. if i visit budapest again, no doubt, im staying in Onefam!!!
