Bar and restaurant closed on Monday evenings and nowhere else nearby as far as I could see.

My room was compact and adequate in the eaves. Linen reasonable. Restaurant has tasty food but is surprisingly expensive though I suppose that offsets the room price. Breakfast a la carte so it soon tots up. Staff very friendly. Nice area for sitting outdoors but it was raining on and off when I was there. Quiet residential area with fields at the font.

This time I stayed in room number 11 which was more modern and organized and equipped with a new bathroom. Just the water cooker was broke. In the morning I had a nice, fresh breakfast. The host was friendly and fluent in both English and German.

Nice and clean room, the staff was very kind. The hotel is in a calm area at the side of the village, perfect location for a good night sleep. The restaurant was very nice, they had a large terrace to have dinner and sit with a drink even after closing time. Free public parking is available in front of the hotel.

If you don't have a car, it is more difficult to reach there.

It is at the edge of a village 20 KM easy of Sopron. So if you have a car, this is a perfectly quiet place with good food at the downstairs restaurant. Room is clean, food is good at the restaurant, and the price is very low. Great value for money.

Other than the fact that the restaurant closes early on off season Sundays, there weren't any issues, and the owners told us about this beforehand.

Nice place, kind owners, the environment is pretty. The rooms were comfortable - though we only had a short night's stay. AC is kind of necessary in the upstairs rooms, but it worked well. Based on location and style, I'd recommend the place for road trips, bike trips, etc. - mostly nature centered getaways.

The noise in the corridor.

Great place to stay overnight while doing the Neusiedlersee bike path. It has a container where it's possible to keep the bikes during the night. The staff was very friendly and could speak English and German. The bedroom is simple but it has everything one might need (AC, small fridge, closet). Big and clean bathroom. The restaurant was very good.

Unfortunately on Monday they were closed so no breakfast for me. I wasn't informed about that in advance. The room had airco, the bathroom didn't and also the Velux-window was without shutters, so it was a sauna there.

The host was very kind and told me I was the only guest for the night, 'so Sie haben ganze panzió 😊'. The garden restaurant was very cosy and so was the whole environment.

Strange smell in the room, not very good soundproofing as you could hear everything in the hallway/stairs plus from the nearby rooms.

The room I got didn't have running water in the wash basin. The '5 minutes' I had to wait for the host to see for himself became almost half an hour. This I could still understand because it was very busy in the restaurant. After his visit he said he would send a repairman. After some time came someone who only opened and closed the watertap and said it was no good. Again after several minutes the host returned and gave me another room. In this room, the shower cabine was very dirty, the shower head couldn't be placed anywhere and the showerhose was broken. The airco couldn't move and was broken on several places. Apart from a small apologize I didn't receive anything to compensate for this all.

This panzió is located at a quiet yet central part of the surroundings at Fertöd.
