Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsThe location is excellent, in the middle of my favourite part of Pest. The apartment was not big, but clean and had all the necessary amenities. Wifi worked perfectly. It is in the middle of the 13th district, with lots of restaurants, bars, shops etc, close to the Danube and Margit Island.

MaltaThe flat has everything you need, a small kitchenette, but enough if you spend most of the time out. The shower is very big and comfortable, separate toilet is a good point. Michael was very attentive with us and asked us several times if everything is fine and offered help when we need.

I am very satisfied with our stay at Manhattan studio. Michael is very kind, answers promptly, apartment is with all facilities and you can find and use it very easy. Location is excellent! You may walk to the river in 5 minutes. Very good choice for several days trip to Budapest. I will recommend it to my friends, and also I will come back.

GeorgiaRequirement to register your stay with Hungarian tourist department before your check-in (latest by the end of arrival day), however the registration is simple and just takes a few minutes.
Excellent location – close to the Danube and Parliament building, 7 min on foot to S-Bahn and metro station, lots of restaurants and supermarkets, bakery are nearby. Exchange office at the beginning of the street. Good value for money. Cosy suit - very clean and quiet, good equipped with everything you need. The room contains all supplies. The bathroom and toilet are separated (that's convenient). Good communication with host - easy self check-in with perfect explanation. Michael is very positive person. Thanks him for attention. Absolutely recommend!

The studio is very conveniently located, walkable to tourist spots and also accessible to public transportation if you do not want to walk. Close to restaurant, bar, money changer, convenient store, etc. The little studio is very clean, cosy and also, equiped with everything we need. We had good night sleep and really enjoyed our stay. The host, Michael, is very responsive to enquiry. Self check-in is super easy as Michael provided very detailed information as to how to check-in. There is requirement to register your stay with Hungarian Authority, but no worries, the registration just took us a few minutes and it's pretty simple.

United KingdomWe liked everything apart from the bed. The bed was quite uncomfortable and left me with backache which is something I don't usually experience. Perhaps it was the small pillow were given and the way I was laying to try and get my whole body to fit under the duvet? The biggest thing we didn't like was that the duvet cover barely fit the whole bed and our whole bodies. So you would have to choose from keeping your upper arms/shoulders warm or feet covered as it didn't fit the whole us. Maybe we are just tall people, but I am only 5'6 so not above average my any means... If they got a bigger duvet cover then I would have no real complaints about this stay, and is easily fixable.
The studio was very nice - it was clean and had everything you would need for a short stay. The host was also very helpful and remained in contact throughout the stay, and was willing to offer help and advice. It was in a great location and only a short walk to the shopping centre, and other attractions.
