The room in Petite Maison was very new, modern and decorated tastefuly. The bed is very confortable. The bathroom is big, loved the shower.

The only problem for me was our room was on the front near to the road and although the road wasn’t really busy especially at night it was cobbled so I did start to hear the odd car go by from above 7am but I am quite a light sleeper, it didn’t bother my wife! and I think most of the rooms are at the back

Very clean, lovely big room, 2 TVs and 2 toilets! Huge shower area, good air conditioning which we needed as the temperature rose to 32degrees in June. The staff were all very charming and welcoming, and they all spoke perfect English.

Not a problem for us because we used the public transport buses and walked everywhere - but there is no parking.

Perfect room in the heart of Buda castle district. Within walking distance to all the main attractions of Buda. Great, helpful and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast included. Best eggs benedict ever. Good value for money. They allowed an early check-in because the room was available - and we are extremely grateful after a long flight! They also kept our bags after check-out so we could sight see a bit more before leaving Budapest.

If I could only change one thing would be to leave the restaurant open until 10:30 pm. But staff works hard so I understand.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Specifically Szaboch the waiter gave us excellent suggestions on where to go and how to get around. The toiletries for bathing are quality products (no cheap shampoo and soap) oooh. And the complimentary breakfast WOWZA. NO JOKE. It is not your common continental breakfast. It includes your choice of omelets and pancakes s well as assorted cold cuts and cheeses. Excellent place stay.

The property is in a beautiful, quiet area right next to all the major sites. The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome. A mini bar with refreshments was provided, and the breakfast was exceptional—a must-visit for anyone looking for a tranquil place with special service. It's also incredibly romantic.

Honestly couldn't have asked for a better hotel for my stay in Budapest. The staff were incredible, very friendly and super accommodating. The breakfast was also very good. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was equally cosy. Location wise, you also couldn't ask for better when wanting to explore. Definitely will be staying again.

Staff, staff staff. Very cordial and highly accomodative . One room upstairs one on ground floor, but no problem, they up graded my friend who has mobility problem to a ground floor suite. Breakfast dinner excellent. LOCATION +++++.

I have l don’t hate anything negative to say about my stay at the Maison Bistro and Hotel.

The room was great! Comfortable bed, great bathroom. The a/c worked well and was very quiet. The included breakfast was the best I’ve had in Hungary. Very helpful staff and a great location. Already booked another stay at this hotel.

The beds were a bit odd. As if you are sliding down when lying not in the center of the bed. also, the shower hose was a bit broken.

Fantastic staff, ready to help with any issue. The rooms on the first floor are facing the backyard - usually therea re people having drinks, so it may be a bit noisy if going to sleep early.

First of all, I must say, the location is superb. With bus line 16 you can easily reach the most important spots in Buda (and Pest as well!). It's quiet and very pleasant. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted at the reception. Although we arrived early and couldn't check in immediately, we were allowed to store our luggage, so thank you for that! The room was fantastic; we didn't lack for anything. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the bed linens were as soft as a cloud – it felt like being in a dream. The breakfast was wonderful, offering both a buffet and a small menu, so the selection was more than sufficient. In summary, everything from the staff to the stay itself was simply perfect. We will definitely be returning!

Unfortunately one member of staff let the team down we found him rude and he refused to help us get to one of our excursions because we didn't book it through the hotel. We only had 3 full days there and had planned and booked everything before we went. Be careful when taking a yellow taxi we were charged 25,000 huf (£55.46) for 30 min journey. After that we booked any taxi through the hotel 7,664 huf (£17.00) for 30 min journey. Make yourselves familiar with currency. We asked for breakfast box for 2 people as we were leaving at 7am we had 1 small bottle orange juice, 1 apple 1 orange, 4 large baguettes and 2 chocolate bars. Not quite what i expected. A couple of croissants and orange juice each and some fruit would have been sufficient.

The hotel was beautiful and very clean. Food was amazing very good selection at breakfast, food in the evening excellent and reasonably priced. The hotel is central, walking distance to other restaurants.

The tile in the shower was a bit slippery.

The room was clean and nice, free minibar included, the bathroom was heated and big. The breakfast and the food in the restaurant were very good. The staff was so nice and hospitable. They will help you with anything you need. The reception is open 24h. The hotel is located on a lovely, quiet street. Once you enter the castle hill area you can park anywhere for 25 euros/day.
