We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

HungaryAirconditioning wasn't cooling at all and could not be set, I had to open the window for the night. The same in the restaurant, it was middle of the very hot summer and the airconditioning was not operating, it was very hot inside and no air. Windows were not openable.I guess it' s because of savings bot for this prices I would expect notmal aircoinditioning.

Great and centrally located. Had a single room which was big enough and very clean. Free water, coffee and tea in the room. Tv is a bit weirdly located but ok, there wasnt much alternative. AC was working well as it was very hot outside on that day. Many restaurants outside in walking distance. Staff war very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, really enjoyed it! Would def. come again

Nice, friendly, lovely and very helpfull female receptionist on the day of arrival, but in general the staff was nice. Private parking place in the parking garage of the Hotel with my name on it made me feel very welcome. Breakfast was good. Location is superb in the heart of the old city centre.

SlovakiaI was warned by the hotel about the limited capacity of the underground garage, and there really was no room left for my car. The receptionist did not open the garage for me and sent me to park in the outdoor parking lot, where the 20th century rules - the parking lot can only be paid in cash, exclusively with Forint coins. Of course, we didn't have them and the receptionist showed no interest in assisting us with this problem. Is it a problem for the hotel to give clients the option to pay more for accommodation and provide them with this exotic currency in cash so they don't have to worry about getting fined?

SlovakiaRooms oriented to main road are quite noisy, especially at summer season it can be much more disturbing. Staff reacted and tried to change room to upper level, yard oriented, probably some technical room close to or some aircon vent system, so noisy too. Anyway, hotel OK for business short term stayover.

RomaniaThe sound deadening is not great between the bathroom and the room, when someone takes a shower everyone in the room knows it, but this is nitpicking at this point.
Our stay was great. We just stopped over for a night during a long trip, but we were pleasingly surprised. The whole building looks like the estate of a nobleman. The room was huge, comfortable with everything we needed. We enjoyed it so much we are considering visiting again to visit the town.

RomaniaCommunication with the staff about the availability of underground parking was a bit difficult. I had two ask twice/insist before they made the reservation. There is, I believe, some inconsistency between the conditions for parking declared on booking.com and actual policy.

BulgariaThe name of the hotel might get a bit confusing. On the night of our stay, booking was showing the name as just Hotel Magyar Kirlay, but the building only has Mercure written on it, which threw us on a wild hunt. Outside of that all is perfect.
The rooms are spacious, the price is good and the hotel is situated right in the center of the city.
