The food at the restaurant was unfortunately a bit too salty. We ended up eating it since we were hungry after a long drive, but we definitely regretted it afterwards!

There is not much that can be criticised.

Great location for those who transit through Hungary. The property is designed and furnished in contemporary style with great taste; everything is pristine and in good order; staff is friendly and helpful; food is great and multiple choices are offered. Perfect stay before Serbia border. If you have time in the journey break, you can walk to the city centre. Many free parking places available. Nothing to worry about - so perfect while on travel.

Actually nothing was to complain about seriously. Maybe breakfast could be more versatile for this range of hotel.

Everything was great. Hotel is almost new, clean, comfortable, great surrounding. They bought us wirh child care. We asked for additional baby cot in a family apartment. While other hotels may complain to have 5 persons in a room etc they gave us baby cot, baby chair for the bathroom, additional toilet helper, baby bathtub! Really appreciated!

We were in transit but this is a hotel where you have to stay many days!!!! Nice, very clean, fantastic beds, free parking. The breakfast is a high standard breakfast, with delicious food! For sure next time will be easy for me to choose a hotel in Szeged!

Everything was great! It definitely exceeded our expectations!

Absolutely spotless! Everything was brand new. Very nice and modern design. Decent location, about 10 mins from the city centre and the Aquapolis. Staff reasonably friendly and quite helpful! The room was large and the bathroom superb! It even had heated floors! Honestly, we looked for some spiderwebs or some dust on the window sills, a hair on the bedding or a dirt spot on the carpet but we could find absolutely nothing! The breakfast wasn't anything to write home about but it was exactly what one would expect and it was very good! The hotel even has a small but very beautiful and welcoming chapel! Parking very generous and free! All in all it was one of the best hotels we ever stayed in! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that the price is very good as well! Hotel Gerardus was so nice that we might just come back to Szeged for the sake of spending another couple of nights in it!

Nothing to complain about

Must say that this hotel impressed us. From arrival safe parking, room of the highest standard, clean everywere, to the restaurant with so good food and quality. In restaurant it was buffe' for dinner. So much to choose from, and presentation delicious. Price of course not on the cheapest side, but around 25-30€ pr person, inclusive drinking a couple of beers is nothing to complain about. When the girl in reception, even upon arrival and a lot of people coming to check-in, was so effective and serviceminded, the staff in restaurant was proffesional, and all the smaller things, like placees to sit outside enjoying weather, and the feeling around this hotel, all was superb! The beds were very comfortable, bathroom has a large shower, room clean and large, with a balcony with a nice view outside. So we has now found our new favorite hotel in Hungary.

Probably the location, but if you are in transit it doesn't matter.

It is new, it is modern, they have very young and very friendly staff, large rooms, very large bathroom, varied breakfast. Large secured indoor parking. Very good value for money. We will come back.
