The location was great for us - just in front of the beach. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and cozy.

The rooms are rather small. At the end of May, there were no restaurant facilities for dinner at the hotel. Maybe it is otherwise in the high season...

The breakfast was OK, would have expected a larger selection of healthy food options from a 4 start hotel. We stayed on the top floor and our balcony had no protection from the sun, so we could only enjoy the view after the sunset.

Very close to the paid beach and also has a smaller size swimming pool. I appreciated the bike rental service the hotel provided. The staff was very friendly and accommodating both at the bar and reception desk.

Our room smelled of tobacco and subsequent failed attempts to rid the smell of tobacco with deodorant spray.

We were given one of the connecting rooms and the separation was only one door with a large keyhole. We looked through to the bed next door. I sealed the hole with a piece of paper. lol

- the hassle around the beach discount card. You need to pay 5000 HUF in cash for deposit and you need to make sure that you walk to the beach on your last day before you check out to get your cheaper ticket. I'd happily pay the extra price of the beach tickets to the hotel if I could get a "free" beach access arranged by the hotel for me. I know it is possible because we got a ticket like this from guests of a nearby hotel (it is a piece of paper known by the beach employees and you can skip the long line with it). When we showed our plastic discount card, the lady at the entrance could barely apply it with the card reader. It would be so much more convenient to just have a simple ticket because most guests are here for the beach anyway. It is normal to stay a full day at any beach hotels and spa we have ever been to, the reception even takes care of the luggages of the guests who would stay on the beach but check out in the morning. Either this or a late checkout could solve this very easily.

- personnel is exceptional, especially Csaba at the reception (night shift) and the Front of house Team at breakfast. They are professional and run the extra mile to make the guests happy. - room design is fresh and modern, the balcony view is nice, the airco works great - breakfast is excellent, the variety and quality of the food is outstanding (there are many things to choose from, e.g. chocolate fountain with fruits and waffles, traditional Hungarian spread, rice dessert, scrambled eggs, fresh vegetables, cheese, yogurt and more), you can also have your breakfast on the lovely terrace - the garden is beautiful, well-maintained - there is a beautiful pool in the garden which is cleaned daily - the beach is close by - the parking is steps away from the entrance, the price is included and there is plenty of space, some even with shade - late check-in

The rooms are comfortable and have almost everything, however, the shower corners are very small and uncomfortable. They also do not provide an iron in the room, which is usually covered under the bare basics. They do not have the restaurant open all day long, they only serve breakfast, so don't be surprised if you see restaurant opening times from 7:30 am to 10:00 PM on your key card, its not the case. It is advised to store food, etc, as the places around close by 8-9. For the price they take, these basic things can be included. It was just 1 day for us, so it really didn't matter a lot, but for longer stays, it could make a difference.

The location is supert, and it's right next to the beach. The property in itself is nice and tidy, they have a pool, an outdoor human size chess board, and a tennis lawn. The breakfast was good, they can make it if you ask for something specific. The basic rooms are comfortable. They allowed us to check-in early, which we did not request at the time of our booking, which was really appreciative 😊.

Remind the guests not to leave the windows open when they leave in the evening to avoid an army of flies welcoming you when you get back (you are next to the lake.. yes :-) )

I booked the hotel for one night as I was going to participate to the Balaton cross swim event. The event was postponed one day and I had no issues to move my booking one day after free of charge. In the morning I had to take the bus to get to the departure of the event and as the taxi's quote was abused a member of the staff offered to give us a lift to the bus stop (this is what I call customer care). Staff: TOP, polite and very helpful Location: perfect for my requirements Breakfast: I did not manage to enjoy it fully as I had to leave at 7.30 (just before the breakfast time). I had viennoiserie with a nice espresso (italian style). Although I did not profit the full buffet, the choice available I have seen was excellent. So... overall: worth it.

The balcony of the room was still old, tiny and uncomfortable.

The inside of the hotel is beautiful, new and clean, so as the rooms, with comfortable beds. The staff is friendly, breakfast and dinner is delicious, and the location of the hotel is very good as well.
