Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The location of the apartment was central to exploring all Budapest has to offer. Close to sites, restaurants, Metro, Trams and Buses. The apartment was decorated beautifully and the attention to detail in making guests feel comfortable was fabulous.

IrelandThe apartment is beautiful and is located in a fantastic area. It is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. It was perfect for a family of 4 (adults). The host met us and gave us the keys and walked us through the apartment. The location is close to everything in old town, public transportation and restaurants. The hosts website was extremely helpful for recommendations.

It was a self-catering accommodation, but tea and coffee were provided which was nice. The location was excellent for exploring the old town of Pest with Buda not far away. Safe Comfortable and all amenities within walking distance and situated on a very lovely side street.

AustraliaThese are minor things… The three different doors to get into and out of the apartment were very complicated to lock/unlock. This would be an issue in an emergency evacuation. The spiral staircase isn’t great if you have old knees and heavy luggage.
