we ordered a room with wooden bed that was the reason we chose this accomodation. but we got another room with metál bed which we wanted to avoid. paid the higher price for better room got the cheaper one.

The exterior of the apartment is quite old and dirty. It would be nice if the management does some clean up of the exterior part.

The room is super clean, and to my surprise there’s a small kitchen that provides everything for simple cooking.

The check in was in another building, and I was given the keys to my room. Please note that I have requested for an early check in and was told beforehand that it is subject to availability. So when I was handed the keys I assumed that my room was ready. However when I arrived at my room, it was still not clean and the cleaner asked me to wait which I did as I am rather early. I waited for about 40min and the room was still not ready, by this time it was already the usual check in hours (3pm). I messaged Susy, the lady who checked me in if I can leave my bags while the room is getting prepared as I have to go somewhere soon. So, that was resolved. However, on the checkout day, I got a knock on my door just 10min before checkout time. It was the cleaner asking me to move out. I am well aware of the checkout time thus I am ready to go, but I thought at least wait until the checkout time is over before you go asking guests to move out. Also the bed was a bit too hard for my liking giving me sore hip and back

The room was spacious and had cooking and dining facilities. It is centrally located, close to a lot of food places and shopping area. It is a short walk to the Elisabeth Bridge and the Great Market Hall. I loved that you can leave your bags after check out. I also appreciate that Susy, the receptionist, provided me with information about tours and activities. The room has an AC which was very handy when I was there as temperatures were high on most days.

It's not on the address shown on Booking.com. The owners have few buildings, and our friends who made the same reservation got an apartment in a different place, 5 minutes walking. Also, the entrance is quite dark and spooky, If I were staying there as a woman alone, I'd be very disappointed 😞

The staff was really nice. When we got there it was a pretty hot day and the AC in the room was set to heating mode so the cooling didn't work and we had trouble sleeping. The next morning when we mentioned it to the staff, they sent someone to fix it and got it working, which we are thankful for! Everything else was decent, it's a small room but well designed for a compact space.

Not so much didn't like, it was just an initial unsettling feeling as a solo traveler navigating a foreign country. Google maps doesn't take you to the exact location of the office where you collect your key, it took me to a street away across the road but I called the number on my reservation and the lady was every helpful. She sent me a WhatsApp pin location and navigating from there was very easy.

The location was great. Both train stations Nyugati and Keleti are close by. There are tram lines and bus stops within walking distance. Chain bridge, parliament buildings many shops and restaurants close by. I loved that there was a kettle in the room to make my own tea and a microwave and mini fridge. The facilities are great.

Wouldn't say it's soundproof as can hear everything in the hallway Also no pillows on bed just cushions maybe that's the norm in Budapest

The cleaning staff come into the block around 8am and are very loud, have phone calls on loudspeaker and turn the washing machine on straight away which woke me up every morning. Only other small issues were the shower head holder was broken so you couldn’t have the shower on full power and you are only provided with one pillow each which is very small and not very padded. Also the towels are very small and there was no option to replace them during the stay so by day 3 they weren’t very good at drying after a shower.

Great location to access the key bits of the City. Great value for money. The kitchenette in the apartment is a great addition and well equipped. The office where you collect keys is conveniently located and the lady on reception was very friendly, helpful and spoke multiple languages.

Although we didn’t store our luggage on the day of leaving as we stored the luggage at the place my friends stayed, I feel it would better if the host can extend the hours when the luggage can be stored.

The location is nice, reception easy to find and staff responded to my queries very promptly before our travel.

It was very central and had little additional things like microwave and mini stove and frying pans. Katie was extremely helpful and made a smooth process from arriving and departing with organising taxis and meeting us and was there if we needed anything.
