We have a pleasure to spend 3 days in Budapest Citi Guesthouse. The room was really cosy and clean, bed was very comfortable. We had our private bathroom and a small wardrobe in the room. The location of the hotel is great. We have not used any public transportation (except the oldest metro line), because the distance from our accommodation to the old town was around 20-25 minutes walk by the charming Budapest streets. The hosts were very nice and easily reachable via phone :)

Everything was fine: very easy self check-in, with main door and room door codes promptly provided by the owner, and a really nice room at a good price. The bed was comfortable, and the room included everything that was needed: good air conditioning, hangers, towels, and even a locker - simply wonderful! Would definitely consider it for another stay in Budapest

Great location, close to a Metro Station. The self check in system is very convenient. The staff was friendly and we could store our luggage after checking out. There are several restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets nearby.

Having visited Budapest numerous times, I can confidently say that this hotel surpasses all the ones I stayed. Impeccably clean and cozy, our stay was stress-free from check-in to check-out. The timely provision of essential information by the owner made our experience even more delightful. My partner and I were really impressed, and the excellent location of the hotel allowed us to easily access the city's main attractions on foot, including convenient access to Nyugati train station. I highly recommend this place for an unforgettable stay in Budapest.

The only thing (as mentioned in other comments) is the mattress. It really deserves a more comfortable one.

Has everything you need and more. I appreciated the place to keep the luggage after checkout and the fact that there is a toilet out of the rooms. The room is spacious and very clean.

I liked everything

It was everything perfect . The place was very clean and the room had everything we needed. Clean towels , hairdryer, tea and boiler , iron . The girls at the reception were so polite. The location is ideal. It is Opposite to the New York cafe and 3min from metro and tram-buses . In the Center of Budapest! Also you have the choice to leave your luggage after the check out in lockers that are at the lobby. Definitely recommended

the room was clean and warm enough (January 2024). It was also spacious. It had hot water supply during the whole day. It was located very close to metro station. Furthermore, the bed was very nice, soft and comfortable.

Communication with the hosts was prompt, helpful and friendly. Self check in is really convenient when arriving late at night. The room suited my needs, was clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. It was great having a fridge too. The location is perfect, set back from the busier roads but only a short walk to many of the attractions, bars and restaurants. I had a lovely time!

Lovely large room. Warm and welcoming. Almost a walk in wardrobe area with loads of space. Nice comfy bed and tea and coffee making facilities in the room with top up teas and coffees in reception. Very quiet despite being in a busy part of town. Easy access to a nice light reception area and rooms were all on the ground floor. Really appreciated afer a busy days sightseeing. Very good and clear access information sent prior to our stay.

The pillows were rather uncomfortable. The room and bathroom are quite small, although good enough for us, we didn't spend much time in the hotel.

Very good value for money. Good position, close to a lot of bars and restaurants and a metro station.

That we couldn't open the window for a while in the morning, just to change the air inside the room. I know it's for security reasons, but I would appreciate that.

The room was really small. I couldn't spend more than 1-2 nights at the place. But the price and value of the room compensates for the size of the room.

Small but very clean and cosy room. The check-in was easy and get all the necessary information from the host in time. The room is ideal for a short stay in the city centre. Everything is reachable in the centre by foot in minutes. You have the possibility to boil water and make a tee in your room for free, which is very generous and attentive. Also you have the possibilty to use a small fridge in the room.

It was not soundproof. It was in a quiet street, but you could hear if someone was in the hall.

The room was small, but clean and had everything we needed. The check-in and check-out was easy and the staff was great. The bed was comfortable, and the room was warm (maybe a little too warm for my liking). The location is perfect, close to transportation, near the city center.
